I have to change my answer.... I've had massive touch problems for 2 days...this morning my iPhone froze completely...I returned it today and got my money back...my joy has been ruined...I've never had such problems in 20 years of Android

I've tried some of the reported fixes, but in portrait mode, on an iphone 16 pro, I can't even click on the spyglass for search in youtube. I don't have a screen protector on it, just an otterbox case. This is just one example of many issues I have with button presses anywhere within 2-3mm of the edge of the screen.

Obviously, app makers aren't going to rebuild their apps because apple has an apparent hardware issue, so should we all just return the phone ? Am I overreacting or are we headed to a class action suit ?

In my case, the problems are quite minor. But annoying for a person with OCD like me 👀. iOS 18.2.1 just came out, maybe there will be some small change.

My friend also me and u have a OCD, we aren’t crazy or foolish from to image the lose touch.
The problem is here.
We have same touch issue in minor time, but there is it.
I think that only the new. iPhone with new built is K.
Also this update not resolved it.
Apple is in contact with u?

Tomorrow I receive the second call from the USA. We will continue with the "diagnosis" but I suspect that we will not get anywhere.

Hey everybody ,

What about the problemes after the New Update?
the issue of the screen randomly skipping a few touches still happens but the frequency seems to be less. especially the speed of waking up the screen and turning it off after pressing the side button has been radically improved, as fast as my previous 15Pm.

The missed touch problems in my case (Beta 2 iOS 18.3) have almost disappeared. They are so occasional and distant that I don't know if I'm the one who's wrong or it's really a missing touch (I don't know why, but it's improved substantially). I have to take it to the technical service on Friday. But I won't do it, I have nothing to show them...

What about soft taps on the edges with a screen protector on?

I really have no idea, because I took out the screen protector and I haven't reinstalled it. Another thing I did and I don't know if it had a positive influence was to reset all the settings.

I’m still having touch issues! Even problems with scrolling through different apps. Scrolling freezes but the rest works. Killing app and restarting makes it work again

The scrolling stuff it’s a hardware problem.

So with beta iOS 18.3 is better of 18.2.1?
Dio u think is better?
Thanks
