Nope, I know how to check the UPS tracking and there's nothing to report. Hopefully next week we'll see some movement.
I was hoping some of you with further out dates like me were going to stick around to check in a bit! Mine says oct 8-15 🤦♀️ which is disappointing a bit but oh well. Living in a very rural state where the closest Apple Store is not even in the state makes for a “get what you get” scene lol. Look forward to following it with you guys if you choose to 😊
Gotta love UPS - their multiple flight crews flew over 16 hours to get our phones here!

Well, I ordered my iPhone from Verizon online for the first time. I knew that a signature would likely be required for the package, so I thought no big deal, just have the package held at the UPS facility for pick up and I can get it after work.
But lo and behold, I just found out that Verizon put a restriction on the package and it cannot be held for pick up. Not really sure I’m gonna get my phone.
I mean, how does anyone with job get their packages when sellers do this!?

Not sure it’s Verizon. Apple has put that restriction in place. Maybe you could have it left with a trustworthy neighbor? You can indicate that on the UPS app I believe.
The only free change you can do is leave it with your neighbor.
Other options like another address, hold at UPS store or UPS Access points will cost you money.

Yeah, I tried. Hold for pick up, give to a neighbor, and change delivery address are all listed as restricted by the shipper, and I cannot make any changes with the app.
None of those options are available for me, even if I’m willing to pay. It shows as available with the charge, but when I tried clicking through it, it says restricted at the very end.
I would be fine paying $10 or whatever for them to just hold their phone at the UPS facilities so I can pick it up after work.
Options may open up as your package is separated from the pallet and scanned to be destined onto it's final flight or truck.
Keep an eye on the options as they may change.
Yes I understand and agree - my UPS CC counter is 10 minutes away and would prefer to pickup first thing in the morning before it gets loaded onto a truck and then driver goes around and around for hours - maybe lucky if I get delivered by 5pm.
This is not Verizon's rule - Apple made this a shipper restriction to all deliveries.
For anyone on at&t plans. my bill just came in with all the upgrade fee's for the 3 phones im upgrading. Was able to waive the fee's automatically online with 2 clicks.
For each phone line was this button "dont recognize this fee"
Click it, then hit "ok" on the next pop up window, and it will automatically credit you for the upgrade fee's.

Just to be clear, I ordered the phone from Verizon, not Apple.
I don’t understand how Apple can dictate how private retailers ship their product.
Yeah... I ordered a plain ol' 16 in Aquamarine for my son. His is still "preparing to ship" with the Sept 20th delivery date still showing.
