But now the 16 Pro came out with very neat features ( action button, camera control button, 5x lenses, etc) and now I am looking at replacing my Canon DSLR with the iPhone 16 Pro for both 4K videos and photos.

Phone cameras have indeed gotten very good, but don’t expect it to look as good as what you were getting with the Canon. iPhones do a lot of heavy lifting in software, but they are still quite constrained by the hardware. Using an app like Halide helps.

Didn’t get an email but the UPS app is showing the same for me (also ATL). Both for my watch and phone.

I called UPS and they said they couldn’t reach the delivery center because it’s closed??? Lmao how is a delivery center closed on a business day, let alone iPhone delivery day?

Update: mine is now out for delivery. Maybe yours will be the same.

UPS sure likes to play with me. Two deliveries today and the non-phone is on a truck for delivery and the phone is pre-paring. I think UPS usually goes out for delivery between 9:30-10 so hopefully it moves in the next 48 mins.

Some drivers will and some will not. Make sure you have your ID with you if you try.
I live in Midtown Atlanta and know from past experience that the drivers here usually won't allow it.

And, FedEx with my Watch 10: 12:00 - 2:00

So, I guess I will have time to upgrade my watch while waiting for the phone.

As of 9:43am it says “this package is being held for a future delivery date”… should I be concerned? It says expected delivery for today still and showed “on its way” at my local UPS Facility at 8:20

Way back early in the thread someone mentioned that if you kept skipping that screen you could activate on any carrier since all phones are Unlocked from apple.
