good news! I just got another call back from the executive team guy and he says the courier has picked up the delivery and I should expect a delivery tommorow. YAY! might well apply to other people on this thread

sxcore for you.. lets hope it comes true and you're not left disappointed!! :0
let us know when it happens!!

still nothing

me neither .. mine is still "shipment delayed"!!!!! :(

im content with it coming on thursday now.. as long as its here on thursday no later
my current status has changed to 'Shipment on schedule'

I ordered a few days after the keynote, and like many others, I have limited tracking information at the moment.

I'm beginning to wonder whether the inconsistent and confusing tracking information is largely out of Apple's control, i.e. it is mostly produced by the various carriers rather than Apple themselves.

For those of you that ordered straight after the keynote, is your delivery in line with Apple's original order confirmation, or is it actually taking longer?

My original order confirmation said delivery expected "on or before 6-7th November". I'm wondering whether that is still a good indicator based on other people's experience so far, or whether my delivery might actually take longer?

Mine just arrived in Warsaw. I guess it'll go cologne-apeldorn-me or something like that :)

You should be fine. I ordered on the 14th, payment came through the 16th and mine quotes between 5th and 6th of november, if not before (I think it'll arrive maybe 1 or 2 days earlier then quoted).

Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 29 Oct 2008 (Subject to change)

I've got the same. I fairly confident the Excutive Support guy was right abut delivery tommorow now. but typical Apple tracking to still not give us a proper tracking number

Our Delivery Reference Number
8080*****1
Carrier Tracking Number
8080*****1
Assigned Carrier
UK DISTRIBUTION CENTER

same here :S

Well, I don't know how these laptops get to Europe but if they come by boat, Rotterdam is one of the most important ports in the world. In any case it's the number one in Europe.

if they came by boat they would take like 6 weeks from china?

Just noticed that my Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) is 01 Nov 2008 'local to the event', but 31 Oct 2008 'British Time'.

Guess my MB isn't being delivered in Britain

Also, GMT says 31st, Eastern European says 1st.

Has anyone who ordered iPods, printers etc. with their Macbook received delivery yet? I presume I'm waiting for my items to 'merge' before I'm given any tracking information.

Wooohooo, finally got a TNT tracking number, Executive relations guy phoned me tonight and promised delivery tomorrow.

I ordered a Macbook 2ghz, iPod Nano Purple and Apple Care from the Edu store.

I ordered my maxed out macbook on Sunday 19th with 4G Nano 8GB with the rebate (I already own a 16GB Nano so it'll be a xmas present to my bro :p)

They took the money on the 22.10.08 , and "shipped it out" on 26.10.08. And I am sitting here on expectation of 5-6 day wait for it to hit Europe

The only reason I ordered online was because I get the HE discount but understand the 3 year warranty is online only and not retail store

do you know when it appeared when did u check last before you got the tracking number?
ws it like this morning or have u been checking reguarly today?
