UK - Anyone's Macbook Shipped Yet?

My delivery date changed this morning to the 29th (today)
I got TNT and tracking number for it, i checked it and the depot is only like 30/40 mins away. Apparently my package was out for delivery at 8:51, its now 10:30

Yeah mine says out for delivery too since 9:00 and it's coming from heathrow which is about an hour away. I guess we just have to wait.

I have my tracking number wich is 8080727865. Apple has just put the carrier as 'uk distribution centre' i guess its tnt that it is being sent with but it wont give me any tracking on the tnt website, :confused:
 
i had similar details last night (obviously diff number tho), but give it a day and you'll get tnt

yeah.. i just tried that on tnt's website too.. and nothing..

i'm assuming they just haven't scanned it in yet or something..

at least u got tracking details so yours should be delivered this week i guess..
 
ooohhh... some progress..

my status has now changed from "shipment delayed" to:

Estimated Delivery Date (Subject to change) 30 Oct 2008 (Subject to change)
Current Delivery Status Preparing handover to final carrier 29 Oct 2008


so what the heck does that exactly mean? will i get mine tomorrow? friday?
(still no tracking details though)

Thanks for the help guys, i mite resort in going to Church maybe a good Prayer will spped it up lol
 
It's been out for delivery since 9am i didn't think it took nearly 3 hours to get from heathrow to my house maybe they should have taken the heathrow express!

Hopefully they're bringing mine to me first ;)

So saying that, despite being a 14th orderer I have no tracking info at all so won't hold my breath.

First the lady gave me the whole thing about the order arriving on the 4th or before... and tried to leave it at that, but after some time I was able to press her and get her to track to the MBP itself (Apple has the tracking info, for some reason they aren't sharing it with us), she said that my MBP was due to arrive at the UK distribution centre tomorrow, the 30th, and that by 5pm in the evening I should have a status update, then the order should go out on the 31st for delivery and will hopefully arrive then.

I assume the MBs and MBPs are shipped together.
 
wow, this sucks. mine (MB base+touch) shipped on 22nd and i didnt get jack till now. still "Current Delivery Status: Preparing handover to final carrier 27 Oct 2008"" :confused:
 
Just got off the phone with Apple and was told that if your status displays your macbook is at Apple's UK distribution center it should be delivered to you tomorrow, depending upon how far away from Hinckley, Leicestershire you are.

Tracking for those expecting them tomorrow will be provided within the next 24 hours, however this is fairly pointless tracking it for all of 2 hours before it arrives at your door...

Mine is due tomorrow :D What time do they generally arrive or does that vary area to area?
 
I ordered early morning on the 15th..Still no tracking info either, I get estimated delivery 3-4th November, but in the tracking I get 31st October(subject to change) but Shipment dispatched is the only info I get(been that way for 4-5 days now)

from what I have been reading now it seems we should get a tracking number tomorrow (i also have 31st delivery).
 
Well I've just phoned Apple and thrown a tirade of questions, sob stories and anger at a poor girl in the States.

Despite my est delivery date saying 30th (as in tomorrow) she says there's no chance of it arriving them because it isn't with the carrier yet. She said I'll be financially compensated for the inconvenience but I just want my damn macbook.

I ordered 14th with a little extra RAM.
 
Well despite having a TNT tracking number and the delivery date showing as today my apple status has gone back to "Shipment Delayed" and the TNT status shows it being sat in the Northampton Hub since 22:20 last night.

Frustrating.

whoa.. that's rough!!
call TNT and ask them if it's out for delivery or not..
 
Just looked at mine on apple UK and I've had this added:

"Current Delivery Status In transit to destination country - next updates expected in 4-5 business days - 29 Oct 2008"

Sigh
 
ok well just got off the phone with apple... it appears my MBP is in luxemburg and will be with me mon-tue making it 21 days after i order... im not too pleased about this as i was hoping for delivery thursday or friday :mad:

She said to ring them up when the macbook arrives. She gave me her email address too to let her know when it arrives (maybe she just likes the sound of an angry Englishman though ;) ).
