UK - Anyone's Macbook Shipped Yet?

UPS has changed to say mine in transit and should arrive 30th.

Which is today! So i'm gonna have to spend another day at work being stupidly excited.
still as long as it comes i'll be happy.
 
Just to add to the Schadenfreude experience for people reading this thread mine is now showing as on schedule for delivery yesterday. TNT says "recovery action" whatever that means.
 
ack.. just checked my status and it's STILL at:

notice how the est delivery date is TODAY? but i still have no tracking and putting that 80xx number into TNT doesn't give me anything either :(

Theres a man in a UPS van in East London delivering little bundles of joy.
got mine about 10 mins ago. Now have to sit with it next to my desk till i get to go home at the earliest opportunity.

Mine arrived at my local TNT depot (Worcester) at 3:56am and was scanned out for delivery at 6:32am. Hopefully i should be expecting it very soon!!!

I'm at home today luckily so every van/car/engine that sounds outside, has me at the front window... :eek:
 
I got mine yesterday well worth the wait, although people were right about the screen it did look washed out but once I calibrated the screen it was fine.
 
Ordered Macbook, printer, nano and sleeve on the 16th, shipped on the 24th. No updates today as of yet, still shows as 'In transit to destination country'. Emailed Apple on Tuesday complaining about lack of information, have had no reply.

I just hope it arrives tomorrow. I'm writing up a few papers that require diagrams, but my current computer becomes unresponsive when I try and include them. Deadline is the 10th November, aaaah!
 
well i give up... im just gona have to sit and wait till monday or tuesday... estimated dlivery 30th oct. preparing handover to final carrier which isnt really helpng as its been on there for a just under a week now... wht can i say I want/need the MBP so ill wait but itl deffinitly make me think twice about ordering from apple online agin.....:(

If you haven't yet received it of course its going to be in transit?

Mine is out for delivery this morning and its 'in transit' to me.

the status just keeps changing from in transit.. to something else then back to in transit.. that's what i'm getting at..
i just want the damn tracking number already!!

the fact that it still says todays date as the expected date is giving me no faith...

at least you have your tracing details so you know its out for delivery.. lucky sod :p

True, a lot can change in a day though, i had nothing yesterday at this time and by about 7pm, i had a working TNT tracking number and it should be here soon!

Yes its very possible it could come tomorrow - my estimate has been completely accurate from day 1.

At least you can pick it up from the depot at the weekend if nobodies home tomorrow.
 
Mine has arrived! I guess I won't be on these forums again until something goes wrong!

I haven't turned it on yet, but it looks beautiful

Right, I've just thrown it down the stairs. Now it doesn't work.

I'm going back onto the Apple online store to order another ;)
 
Got mine : ) It's gorgeous, and there's nothing wrong with the screen. Just transferred 65gb of music onto it in about 30minutes not bad, its adding them to iTunes that's taking a while...
 
you guys should stop posting in here until I get my macbook. I called Apple and they told me I should have mine tomorrow!

However, they knew little or nothing about where my computer is! I quote "it might be delivered tomorrow. Or it might be within the week."

As a cash strapped student, I'm happy with the delay and the £50! But it does seem incredibly poor service.

Could you elaborate on your discussion with the Apple Store representative? Was your order delayed in relation to your Order Confirmation e-mail?
