UK - Anyone's Macbook Shipped Yet?

any one from Sweden/Stockholm who ordered the MB+iPod?????
I have ordered on 16th and it says scheduled delivery would be on 3 Nov,
let see...
i don't why i have ordered this...

Why is it poor service?
It's just slow shipping. I'm frustrated by this too, but wouldn't call it poor service.
Apple just puts Americans ahead of everybody else, and that's a bit annoying in my opinion
this sucks. i orderd on 14th and till this very moment i dont have a tracking number. even though i have an estimated delivery on 31st

Mine is out for delivery too, ordered 14th, shipped 21st estimated delivery still says 29th on Apple's status.
keep looking out of that window for the van
all of my details on the apple tracking are correct today.. probably for the first time!!!
Mine has just changed from 'preparing handover to final carrier' to 'in transit to customer'. No tracking info as of yet. Looks like it definitely won't be coming this week. Now I'll have to struggle writing these essays on this piece of junk freezing up on me every 5 minutes. YAY!

I ordered on the 16th, recieved on the 28th, and am returning today, the 31st (Not happy with screen)! I can't beleive mine will be back to Apple before they before they even manage to get yours to you.

As I posted in the MBP thread, I'm sure the people at the call centre are just blagging what's going on. Yesterday I was told my order was at Hinckley. A few hours later I was told it was not yet at Hinckley. This morning I am told that the printer, nano, sleeve and Applecare are at Hinckley, and my MB is 'somewhere between Shanghai and Hinckley'.
Urgh. Time to go to lectures.

Just got off the phone with Apple and I agree with Timmbo. They are playing it very safe and sticking by the original estimate that I received.
I ordered 17th, shipped 24/25th. Currently in transit to destination country.
That shipping page says estimated 31st, the shipped email i got from apple said the 4th nov whereas the initial order estimate is the 5th/6th.
They said they have my ipod and printer (obviously but think they said that to make them sound like they are half useful) and the macbook is on route from china.
People who have already received their orders: What was the difference between the initial delivery estimate (the one on the email and the first page of the order status) compared to the actual day of delivery??

My macbook + ipod touch shipment status that was shipped on the 24th has a current delivery status of shipment dispatched. Although the date has changed 3 times on this as this was first shown on the 24th but since then it has it has moved to the 26th and now this morning when i looked it stated shipement dispatched; 31st of october. My estimated delivery status is the 1st of november, so why isit showing today that it has only just been dispatched?

came at 11:09am..
using it now to post!
the actual outer brown box was damaged... had a massive tear in it.. the driver marked it down as "box damaged".. but fortunately nothing is damaged inside it..
the macbook however was absolutely freezing cold when i first held it!
this things feels proper solid compared to my old blackbook... and the keyboard also feels nicer.. more springy feel...
the trackpad... wow!! its really smooth.. glides like butter
the light sensor for the backlit keyboard (i have a 2.4 model) is also well cool!
its just syncing my mobileme account as i type...
haven't seen any issues whatsoever yet.. it all feels and looks awesome!
good luck to those of you waiting for your macbooks! it truly is worth the wait
oh.. one thing... in the box there are 2 UK plugs? one looks like an extension cord.. which is a nice touch

i have an estimated delivery of 31st which is today. When I called them yesterday they said ill be getting it today and if I dont I should call them. So hopefully it does arrive today
Apparently my order HAS been merged and is at Hinckley for pickup by a carrier, (contrary to what I was told this morning, that my Macbook was somewhere 'between Shanghai and Hinckley'). I was also told that Saturday delivery was not possible. I guess I'll phone TNT when I get a tracking number (fingers crossed tomorrow morning at the earliest) and ask for it to be delivered. AAAAAH.

he said that this meant it had probably cleared customs and was on its way to the distribution centre in hinckley to merge with my other ordered items.
he said it would likely then be handed over to the carrier (UPS or TNT) at the weekend for delivery by tuesday but maybe monday.

i also asked him whether i could collect from hinckley as it is 20mins down the road but he said that this wasnt possible.
he said that this meant it had probably cleared customs and was on its way to the distribution centre in hinckley to merge with my other ordered items.
he said it would likely then be handed over to the carrier (UPS or TNT) at the weekend for delivery by tuesday but maybe monday.

Last night Apple finally gave me a (TNT) tracking number.
