Has anyone that purchased the Alpine Loop Medium, and found the clasp hit off the watch case
(to get it over your hand)

Have you swapped it over for a Large, and if so how far did the hook go around?

I mistakenly ordered the watch with the small Alpine Loop and it was doing that. I was going to swap it for the medium size but the sales person at the Apple Store told me I can’t swap just the band and I’d have to swap the whole watch. So I just ended up swapping the whole watch with one with the blue/grey Trail Loop. It’s interesting you’re having the same issue with the medium and maybe I would have too. Anyway the Trail Loop doesn’t have that issue as it uses Velcro to secure the watch.

Yeh I’ve been told the store won’t just exchange the loop, which I think is just a joke

It means anyone just wanting a larger / smaller band, needs to return the Watch for a full refund, then buy new again

Its utter madness!

I bet you anything there‘s a big pile of Watch covers in the back and they just fold them up and add what a customer requires inside, thats why it takes a while before someone comes out with it.
They don’t get wrapped in plastic anymore

I'm having this issue. I only take the watch off once a day for a shower so it's not such an issue I don't think. At least not enough for me to warrant taking it back and swapping the whole thing

Has anyone with EE went into an Apple Store within their return period and purchased a different watch

Then in store managed to swap the data plan, to the new one, while with an Apple Employee?

Or did you have to call up EE to go through the usual reading out long number etc to them?

Pretty sure the way EE have the watch plans setup, you have to ring them with the long number. Shame it's not more seamless.

I swapped my watch with the small Alpine Loop for one with a small/medium Trail Loop last Friday in an Apple Store. I set up the new watch at home and I had to call EE again to add my existing cellular plan to the new watch.

On the first Ultra I was on hold for approximately 40 minutes before I got through. It then took approximately 20 minutes which included the 1st line support person trying to help me and having to transfer me to a 2nd line support person who eventually managed to help me add it.

On the replacement watch I was on hold for approximately 30 minutes. It then took the 1st line support person approximately 15 minutes to get it sorted and help me add the plan.

On each occasion I had tried to do it myself only to be presented with a screen with the EE logo asking me to call 150 and quote error number 003. I had to tell them the long EID number. So it was a bit of a faff both times.

I don't understand why it can't just be an easier way

At least give us a screen on the EE Website to allow a customer to swap the plan ourselves,

As long as we have both long numbers, I can't see an issue.

I don't get it either. It's been like this for years. I wonder what other providers are like with this? Vodafone, Three?

Looks like my trail loop is

Arrives 8 Nov - 15 Nov

So the estimates are getting more concise now

Worth checking local stock, my local Apple Store seems to have got loads of Ultra + Trail loop combos this morning.

Unless you ordered the loop on it's own?

It's odd i've seen loads of people on EE have issues with transferring data plan between watches, but every time (last 3 apple watch variants i've had) mine has successfully transferred to the new watch, i've never set up as new just from a backup and I get asked if I want to transfer the plan at that point. Is it an issue with setting up as new then?

So you don’t have to ring EE at all? The plan just moves over?

I always set up by restoring from a back up and still have issues.
