Watford here. Family are from Radlett a little posh village. I can't afford to live there so moved to Watford. It's not a bad place. 20 minutes to London which is handy.

I’m afraid my Ford Escort was only an L. L stood for lacking I think. All those blank switches for things it didn’t have included!
Had my Dad’s 1.6S off him. Same engine as the fiesta xr2 but without the trim. Sadly the local gits still tried to have it away when I was at work (station parked) - in through the boot with a screwdriver but the steering lock foiled them. They went at it with so much force it bent the steering wheel, there was the plastic cover everywhere in bits, but the lock held…. Went off it after that!

I used to live there before we emigrated.

These were the days before the film studio opened up and that whole area was quite different than it is today.

I appear to be the only Yorkshireman.

If anyone asks why I'm here, it's to do missionary work while walking the whippet (not a euphemism).

Another one for Essex here! but only for the past year, prior to that I was East London, but spent my first 20 years of life in West London.

...in case nobody has guessed - South London and proud here!!!

Warner Brothers and Harry Potter tour have defiantly bought more money into the area. Watford town centre has improved massively. The local council are obsessed in building flats and apartment blocks on any piece of land.

Lol. Also had mine broken into via the boot. Scaffolding pipe over the barrel lock and levered it out. Made a right bloody mess. Stole my stereo and 12” speakers I had in the boot.

I need a new PS5 game - any suggestions??

Just finished the new Spiderman, which was more of the original TBH. Good game though.
Best game so far has been The Last of Us II. Absolute masterpiece. Whole thing is like one big movie. Played it through twice already and may start a third attempt!! Brilliant.

I like the third person perspective type games - FPS games make me feel dizzy.....but I'm tempted to try COD Cold War....

I tried The Last of Us II ages ago but the zombies (or whatever they are called) in some of the very early levels were just so annoying and frustrating to kill (especially when you had almost no ammo) that I just gave up with it. Games which have enemies like this are NOT fun to play.....

Oh I loved it - creeping up on them and stabbing them up! lol

I’m not sure if you 3D platform games but Ratchet And Clank A Rift Apart is amazing. If you like rogue like third person shooters then Returnal is also very good. Deathloop is also very good but it’s an FPS game. Resident Evil Village is very good. If you like Japanese style RPG’s then Tales Of Arise is very good too. 😃👍

It’s a third person action game and looks good. 😃👍

What are everyone’s thoughts about the event on Monday? I’m expecting Power user models only. Nothing that will tempt me from my M1 MacBook Air as I’m definitely not in that category (work in FMCG so all windows based). Be interesting to see the products though which are focused on power and how they differ from current line up. I can’t see apple going back to the likes of HDMI as the rumours suggest. Have apple ever taken a step backwards in this respect?

ill watch with interest but not currently in the market for an MBP, I can see me getting a mini next year. I personally can’t see going back to HDMI either.
airpods 3 would be nice, not for me but for my kids for Christmas, they use theirs to death so the batteries are going…

I would sell my current MBP if they released an iMac with 4 TB ports and 10Gbe.....
