Unfortunately I don't see the govt putting in placing any lockdowns or restrictions. They may relent to actual use of the covid passport system though. I went to RoI in September and I was shocked at how little you could do without showing proof of vaccination. Couldn't even book a table at a restaurant without proof. I thought it was amazing - and worrying that we don't have a proper system in place here.How does everyone feel about the Covid situation in the UK? seems to be getting out of control again. I can see restrictions comning in force again. Here in Nottingham cases are on the up. Worrying times.
I think the government is relying on the fact that, we the public, 'don't care' anymore and want to carry on with 'normal life'. Sadly, I think they're right. It's scary because it's clear that they're fine with the way they've handled, and continue to handle, the covid situation.
