Just interested but why a Three SIM?If you REALLY have to deal with them, make sure you use a Three sim first.

Took it to Apple Bullring today and they said it will cost me £220 to replace because they say I have bent it!!
I spoke to the supervisor who said the same and have emailed the store leader to complain. Who do I escalate this to, if as I suspect, they stick by this edict.
I am absoluetly effing FUMING!
I am pleased to report that after a stinging complaint email to the store manager, they have replaced my handset free of charge. Why didn't they just do that in the first place?![]()

We shouldn't have to go to this extent. Did the receipt state in or out of warranty replacement?

Out of curiosity where did you get the store managers email address?
Any UK'ers get a 6, then decide to swap to a 6+? I got a 6 launch day, and could sell and get a 6+ but would want for Xmas, and current 6+ are looking at Dec 15th so would need to order asap.
Still not sure on the size, for normal everyday use. The 6+ seems to be, for the size screen, bigger than every other phone.
Thanks
I'm thinking of doing the same thing but notice the + has a long wait.
Those UPS planes must have bloody good engines.
The one delivering my 6+ has already been up in the air for over 28hrs.

They said that the warranty didn't cover the damage as I must have bent the phone myself. I didn't. I never had it in a pocket. It was in a case from day 1 and was treated like royalty. First I noticed was the glass had popped out top of the phone by the silence button. I didn't notice a bend until they pointed it out instore.
Having seen the one of nine site it looks like many are bending in the same place.
Well, it may be closer but it's certainly not moving more so.....Lucky you,# mine is still stuck in the Republic of Korea
That's bad. You can clearly see the bend and wow, the screen popping out, and you babied that device 100%?

It's now coming up to 44hrs since it was last reported to have departed Germany and still not back on the ground.
Reminds me of a joke:-
Two guys are up in a plane when the captain reports engine one of four has died and unfortunately this will now add half an hour to their flight.
Ten minutes later the captain is back on the tannoy to report engine two of four has also developed a fault and it too has been shut down. With now only two of the four remaining engines running this has added a further one hour to their flight.
Another fifteen minutes later the flight captain is yet again back on the tannoy and reports engine three of four has now developed a problem due to the excessive strain. This now leaves only one engine running and has added yet a further two hours to their flight.
At which one of the guys turns to the other and says "Heck, I hope engine four doesn't blow and have to be shut down..... If it does we'll be up here all bloody day".
Yup! 100%. £620 is a lot of money to spend on a phone and I'd only had it about 6-7 weeks.
Most probably, either that or between Germany and the UK there's a 'Bermuda Triangle' where planes get lost......... It's now been 55hrs in the air and counting according to the trusty not UPS site. It's safe to say your iPhone carrier has one engine left....I shld expect mine by the New Year then#
Good luck with O2. I left them after 10+ years last year because they wouldn't even come close to matching sim only deals from other providers.
Closest they would get was 500 less mins. And 500mb less for £6 more. Yeah okay O2.
Several friends and family had exactly the same. O2 no longer seem interested in keeping customers.
I am still debating just getting a cheap android like the Moto g and using that until the 6s is released. Or going with the giffgaff deal.
I could keep my iPhone 5 but by this time next year it will be worth a lot less than its worth now. So want to get it sold whilst it's still worth selling.
I have to say O2 were the cheapest in 2012 for the iPhone 5 and were again this year for the 6 for contracts. Not sure about their sim only though. I know my contract if it was on EE would be £6 more expensive a month. Nobody was interested in matching O2 when I enquired too.

Oh, and to rub salt into the confusion they have also extended the delivery 3 days which now puts it back to the date Apple told me all along..... Thurs 20 Nov.
if my carrier does'nt go off the radar "somewhere" over the Eastern Bloc#
Yikes.... You definitely don't want that to happen!!

For SIM only deals O2 are definitely more expensive than Three.
Plus what are O2's rules on tethering?
With Three if you take one of their All you can eat plans you get 4GB tethering thrown in.
I tether my ipad all the time at no additional cost. I like the priority moments deals with O2 too. I quite often eat out with money off and every Tuesday you get a free coffee at Cafe Nero lol. Small things but it works for me. Three do goos deals too and share O2's network I believe.![]()
