Got the UPS tracking # on Dec. 23rd, then again on December 30th. Still hasn't been actually received by UPS and no replies. My optimism was short lived.

Thanks for your update. I already asked them to cancel my order, but they did not reply to that request either. Can you explain how one could apply for a refund since they don't reply to any email?
Most of this thread's content consists of customers that did not receive a product or communication from Polysoft and ultimately contacted their card companies or banks to initiate chargebacks. There was enough volume of complaints that it seems Polysoft was forced to respond for a short time, but seemingly this happens only when there is overwhelming negative press. After they finally shipped a few orders in December for customers that had been waiting 4-8 months, most people quieted down. But as soon as that happened, the company stopped giving any regular updates again, despite continuing to take backlogged orders. As you can see, the last public update to the website was in December when some drives finally shipped out.

The long story short is that the company does not communicate unless their hand is forced by bad press, and they seem incapable of giving credible estimates of shipping times for any orders.

I don't know if anyone has updated this in a while, but when Polysoft was falsely advertising "in stock" drive upgrades in the October / November 2025 time period, a bunch of forum users started posting their order status in this tracking spreadsheet so that everyone could share the order information that they had. It is how most of us decided to seek a chargeback once the sellers on AliExpress were proven to be selling a good quality alternative product with fast shipping and Polysoft continued to ignore customer inquiries. So this may all be happening again.

After talking to several people on Threads and Twitter, many of them mentioned that they have been waiting since February, which at that time was already 7 months, and no response had been given. After a few weeks, I started getting more feedback that when streamers and corrupt Reddit mods began dropping video links and people’s feedback, it pushed the issue further. I was the reason for such feedback encouraging people to buy from Polysoft, expecting quality made in Europe.

Gilles told a different story each time, and it seems that the last story I saw about new employees being hired to handle all the support and feedback is still false.

I have 8 AliExpress storage devices, and all of them work great. One Mac Studio handles a massive amount of data for an AI server and works perfectly.

If you can do a chargeback and get the Chinese one, do it. Otherwise, you’ll go crazy hoping the delivery will ever be made.

The more information about Polysoft I am getting, the more I think this whole thing looks like a big fraud.
I mentioned how the behavior resembled a situation I had to live through a number of years ago. Giles seems awfully quick to offer excuses as to why things are not shipping, awfully slow in processing refunds, and all but absent for support calls/emails/forum posts.

The old, if it walks like a duck, looks like a duck, and talks like a duck, then its duck.

Sadly innocent and unknowing consumers are losing money over this

The Polysoft Service Center is "temporarily" closed Is it a coincidence or a sign of what is coming up? Is it the beginning of the end?

I ordered an 8TB/M1 kit two days ago (even after reading all 42 pages here and a few more on Reddit – I like to take risks). I made a mistake regarding the delivery, so I contacted Gilles in two ways: by email and through the store's website. This morning I received two replies: one from Gilles for the email and one from Léa for the website message.
It would seem, therefore, that Polysoft is still in business and responding to emails.
PS: Gilles has been a well-known figure in the French Mac community for years, so I just wait and see, quite confident.

I hope you will receive your kit.
A new user account praising PolySoft will probably not inspire much confidence among the multitude of users here, who are waiting for deliveries of the kits that they paid for.

edit:@Raoul Lemercier proved to me that he did receive answer. So that looks genuine to me.
My sincere apology. Perhaps the kits will be shipped, albeit very belatedly

I actually sent PolySoft a request to Cancel yesterday and Gilles responded and refunded promptly. I ordered a new NAND from AliExpress 3 days ago and it looks like it's scheduled for delivery Monday (we'll see, but nice response from them, so far).

Gilles emailed me to inform me that he had issued a refund, but it has not reached my bank yet. I will confirm here when I actually get the refund.

Just want to updste, I ordered in November 29 and I got my package yesterday, everything works just great.
Good to hear. I had ordered Dec. 11 and had not heard a thing after 4 messages to Gilles in January simply asking if I should expect anytime soon or if I was on an unknown delivery backlog. I finally cancelled last week and immediately received a response with an apology and a refund, which processed quickly. I ordered from AliExpress just after that and received my NAND yesterday.

It's obvious that Gilles was reading the messages based on his quick response to my cancellation. Even just a weekly update on the homepage - similar to his Dec. 18th message - with some additional specifics might have possibly convinced me to give him more time. I really don't get the lack of response.

In my case, I had recently purchased an Apollo interface. My original Mac Studio only had a 512Gb SSD, which I had filled and had eventually moved to booting from an external SSD. I found out the hard way that the Apollo used KEXTs that required the drivers be installed to an internal SSD. So, my only solution was to do one of these upgrades. Polysoft showing the upgrade was in stock when I purchased and not being communicated to for almost 2 months was unacceptable. It wasn't until I came out here that I started hearing the horror stories of several month wait times.

So - glad to hear you received yours. I don't know if that means that everyone who ordered from your timeframe on is receiving updates, or only that he's receiving specific chips under which he can fulfill. I think people should still be wary.
