That is your phone - they always have some phones pre-staged in the US. Given the uncertainty with tariffs I would expect more of them are already inside the US.

Just got a text from Apple after sending an email to Timmy - my Air order got bumped from 9/25 to 9/19 delivery !

Big question: should I cancel the ISPU backup order for the 19th ???

Oh very good point - thinking back to last year when my 16 Pro delivery got "lost" by UPS.

The local UPS distribution warehouse in Ontario, CA lost track of it as soon the truck arrived from the SBD airport.

Here's my story:

• Apple couldn't help me and said it's up to UPS.
  Opened a case with UPS, nothing.
• Then after 5 days I filed a police report for the felony theft of $1000 item.
• Ontario police arrived at UPS the next day, and UPS magically found my phone.
• Delivered a week later with a generic box that had been opened and retaped.
• I think an employee or contractor was going to take it out of the country....
• Returned that delivery phone because I had already picked up the 16 Pro at the Apple Store on Saturday....

That was NOT fun.

This time, I have my backup ISPU so I'll keep that appointment just in case this happens again....

Been there.... Ive seen it all over the years (and, Yes im sure each year Apple, UPS, FedEx, etc have improved their supply and distribution but still), from last minute updates from Apple to delivery drivers claiming they attempted to deliver, to the delivery coming the minute i go in the shower after waiting all day lol

I have two ISPU phones for Friday. Orange 1TB and Blue 2TB, still calculating what i need and will probably decide by in-person color impressions.

I don't either and it's what I ordered thinking I might like it better in person. I have a clear case and an antique white one. Worst case, clear goes back and I order more cases with flair. Silver should be easy to match with cases of any color... I hope

Yes, I ordered only an iPhone via IUP. I am receiving a trade in kit but based on the weight I’m assuming it’s the iPhone.

Interesting. I assumed that the 0.7 pound package was the phone and the 1.5 pound package was the Airpods + Watch but maybe I have it backwards.

Yes. And I just ordered another and got 09/19 delivery. I cancelled the 09/25 order.

Mine updated to 9/19 a few hours later.

Many of us. I think it's a glitch that affected people, especially IUP members, who placed their orders right when the Apple Store opened. People who place their orders a bit later got launch day delivery and ISPU option. I sent an email to Tim Cook (tcook@apple.com) and got a call from someone on his exec team who said he would investigate and try to fix it. I suggest others in the same boat do the same so we have some strength in numbers.

Luckily, it updated within a few hours to 9/19.
