Picked it up in store. If you’re doing trade in, make sure to turn off find my at home.
thanks. my 17Pro says the same. i wonder if any of the other models were made in india.
didn't take too long but the wired transfer died the first time and i had to reset the phone after having set up a bunch of initial stuff
wired transfer from 14Pro says 5 hours, sigh. maybe wifi would have been faster.for my 17Pro the trade-in kit is inside the iphone box. for the AWU3 i bought, the trade-in kit came via fedex in the morning.
It took a while for delivery, but the whole gang is here! The AirPods Pro 3 case is a leather case from Belemay (navy blue color).

I've received my 17 Pro and I'm already using it. It is great so far. I like the feel of the phone being slightly thicker. It is easier to grab on to, IMO. Only question is do a put a screen protector on it or go with Ceramic Shield from Apple.

I'm thinking I'd do ISPU next year even if there was a CCC. The Apple Store was fun for the buzz, and the organization of it was really quite amazing as the "busy bees" came out from the hive with the various devices with apparently seamless coordination.
CCC was a fun solo adventure to sneak off with an iPhone, with no-one knowing, or caring, what I was carrying in that nondescript box. lol
The Apple Store was just what I needed this week! Grateful to live so close I could just pop by for a few minutes.
I know I said I’d abandon ship but i have an update in case anyone in same boat! I preordered like 6 minutes after opening and got the 19th for delivery. On the afternoon of 18th it switched to october 10-17 for no reason i could see. Anyway i finally got a hold of someone in more upper customer service and she was so kind and helpful. Apologized and told me I did nothing wrong but there had been some kind of order hold placed on it for no determined reason so she fixed it and made sure it processed for me. She did her best and I was just notified that it has shipped! Might deliver by next Wednesday if all goes well. So, if anyone else is in that boat with me, I did the “email Tim Cook” thing which got me to this kind lady who at the least obviously was trying to help me and seems to have done just that. So, not the launch day delivery but I’m thrilled it’s not waiting for a month! Congrats to everyone who got theirs today!!

Got my 1tb pro, The 16 pro max was too huge and the 17 pro max was thicker this year, this pro feels like a dream!
I’ve rocked Nomad/Bullstrap leather cases with the previous models and decided to give the tech woven a chance considering they hopefully fixed the FineWoven issues. Feels rugged and I miss the leather, but it does have more grip!

Dude, I used to work in sales, my Apple rep did the the same also, dude tried hard to sell apple care, I mentioned I work for myself and now i have an appointment with Apple Business reps next week lololol. Dude, he was smooth, taking up every hint and upselling any chance he could. Mad props to the guy, he wasn’t annoying but I recognized the hustle lololol

With a stroke of luck, I missed my UPS delivery today and they told me that I would have to wait until Monday so I stopped watching iPhone videos because I didn’t want to see anything that had anything to do with iPhone. I wind up falling asleep and hello, and behold, my girlfriend walks into the room, wakes me up with a box in her hand. The UPS driver finished his route and brought my phone back. What the….
a bic lighter together with your device, which will be in a thick white paper apple store bag. i think it is taped shut at the top but not all the way, which is apparently what allowed my driver to accidentally drop his lighter in the bag.
it's basically the same as uber eats, in fact apple might be partnering with uber for this, i can't remember.
I think I am doing ISPU next year as well, all my stuff got delivered pretty late in the day. The closest Apple Store is three hours away but I would make a day of it or stay close to there and then do the pick up and head back. However next time I might use phone to phone transfer or so, right now the iCloud backup restore had been running for 45 minutes with ETA of 16 hours? lol not sure what is going on with that ( 70-80 gb ) could have sworn it downloads a decent amount and then lets you use the phone while everything loads . EDIT: It will be about 30 minutes before phone is operational lol

I did courier delivery for my phone case and crossbody strap from Apple and it was super easy, you get an email from Apple when your delivery is on the way and a little map to follow along with. It was through uber, they called me for some directions but after that it was smooth sailing and they brought it up to my door. Like it was stated above the package is an Apple Store bag which is taped closed in the center of the bag, my bag did not have any extras inside! 😂
I’m one of the unlucky ones today. The UPS driver said he couldn’t find my package. Guessing it’ll be a while before it gets resolved.
I never had discomfort with the Max but just liked the smaller form factor of the Pro. As I’m using it more I’m getting used to it and liking it more. Definitely going to give it a few days but so far enjoying it.
Reporting in that I received mine a few hours ago, literally at the last minute of my delivery window and didn't require signature. Super glad I got the Deep Blue Pro Max, it's a beaut!
My driver looked at me and smiled when I showed up at the truck and I asked her about the signature. She said out of the 100+ phones she dropped off, less than half required signing for them. Weird huh? And another weird thing, Apple sent me a Macbook magsafe cable? I didn't order one, just the phone. IDK. I tried to contact CC, but they seem to be VERY busy at the moment since it's iPhone release day and all. I guess I have a new cable for my Macbook Pro. Haha
