I was. I ended up repurchasing at 8am for ISPU and got a time slot for 1:30p in Atl and was shocked. So I cancelled the preorder and drove 2hrs and got my phone and Air Pods. I did have to update the storage from 256 to 512 because they didn’t show any availability for in-store for the 256. Line was crazy long at Lennox. Took about an hr but I got it.

Ispu was crazy at the Tampa fl store, I haven’t been in a long slow line in 5 years. Almost a hour wait for a 11:45am pick up. Didn’t start the stopwatch until 15 mins into the wait. Very organized and quick once inside and the guy working with me was doing a lot of hard selling of the techwoven case and wall wart. Love the orange PM.

Glad I was home and did not leave the house at all yesterday. Mine arrived I heard truck leaving I almost had a heart attack thinking I did not hear him. but phone and iPod pro 3 were sitting on stairs. Guess no signature required.

I know a lot of people like to track and wait for their phones to be delivered, but there is something about being in person with fellow Apple fans for an iPhone launch. Much like midnight releases for video games or video game systems, you often meet cool people and possibly make new friends.

Order status still the same no change ! Went to two Apple Stores with no luck in stock available of the color/model I wanted !

Apologized and told me I did nothing wrong but there had been some kind of order hold placed on it for no determined reason so she fixed it and made sure it processed for me. She did her best and I was just notified that it has shipped! Might deliver by next Wednesday if all goes well. So, if anyone else is in that boat with me, I did the “email Tim Cook” thing which got me to this kind lady who at the least obviously was trying to help me and seems to have done just that. So, not the launch day delivery but I’m thrilled it’s not waiting for a month! Congrats to everyone who got theirs today!!

Same here. Ordered (512GB 17PM Cosmic Orange) within 10 minutes on preorder day. I had 9/19 and then it changed to 10/6-10/13. First time ordering an iPhone on preorder day and not receiving it on launch day.
 
Mine still showing no movement at the online store, my local Apple Store is totally sold out of all unlocked models, shipping in mid October. All the reports are saying Apple getting strong demand for the base model, ramping production on those. Thinking about canceling my pro max order and waiting on a base 17
