Which iPhone are you getting

This is not an accurate sampling of the general population. This is a population of fanatical people in a message board.
The operative word that you seem to have missed was "if." Makes a difference. Also, to be straight to the point, all of this is just rando posting on a message board, including the two of us 😂😂

I'm workshopping a theory that there are people who prefer light phones and people who prefer dark phones, and each camp has two choices this year. I'm guessing a lot of dark phone lovers will dance with the idea of burgundy before placing a pre-order for black. As for us light phone folks, the loss of a vibrant color stings a lot! It seems to look decent in the two options, at least.

I'm on the fence and was hoping for more hands-on photos from after the event to help make up my mind.
I want more hands on visuals from the event as well because I am more a like a brighter color iphone person. I will be giving up my orange 17 Pro and I actually liked that color. So this year I'm on the fence between Glacier which seems to be a light blue and burgundy which would not be my first choice-kind of dark but I definitely am not a black, gray phone person. Concerned the Glacier might end up being more of a silver gray which I would not want. Decisions decisions. 😎

The Duo is nice but not for me. I think I would miss the traditional phone shape after the honeymoon phase wore off. Easy choice for me now that we are getting black… 18 Pro Max.
Look well but I’m also not amused, do you like to have larger screen- buy tablet, also i prefer Face Recognition

I honestly don't think they even know lol. When i asked them they were not sure and told me they are trying to share info they are getting from customers Crazy
This may not help as my Citizens One loan is paid off so I sailed through the Klarna pre-approval. Have you tried calling Klarna? I did once owe a month of payment to Citizens One and had to pay that off on the Citizens One website before I was eligible to upgrade through the now defunct IUP. I don't see why you can't do the same.

Was planning on getting the max but now leaning towards the the pro due to the max not having the new C2 modem.
I've had the PM since it was first introduced. 6.9" to 6.3" is not a tiny trim when you’re already used to a Max. I'd notice it every single time I read, type, watch something, or use the phone as a little portable command center.

The C2 thing is interesting, but right now it’s still a spec-sheet difference without proof of a real-world advantage. I won't give up the screen I already know I love for a modem that may or may not perform better than Qualcomm’s. I'll wait for early reviewers to do side-by-side weak-signal testing before I swap the PM for Pro.

My wife has reached the 12th month of citizens loan, and was approved by Klarna - so it might be something else causing the denial. I won't know on my own device until Duo time.

I found out that my Citizens Bank Apple Loan will not get paid off in the trade-in. Apparently, this year I switched from AT&T to Verizon and that changed my loan with Citizens Bank and put me on not eligible for trade-in. I will pay off my loan. I will upgrade to iPhone Pro Max 18 Black 512GB with my trade-in for my iPhone Air $585 and monthly payments of $39 for 24 months.

I pre-ordered the IPM 256g in Glacier. My IPM17 is fine, but the camera upgrades seem to be worth it.

I was interested in the DUI until I saw that the camera's are "dumbed down" for it.

.

I thought I’d retell the story of my first iPhone purchase, like I do every year. It was the original iPhone. I was on month-to-month with Verizon because I knew I was going to dump them when the iPhone came out. The iPhone was only supported by AT&T back then. The launch Friday came and went and I didn’t purchase an iPhone. It was now Saturday and I was curious, so I called the Columbia, MD Apple Store and asked the person, “I’m very sorry to disturb you; you must be really busy, but how long are the lines for the iPhone?” He replied, “Oh, there are no lines.” I said, “Well, do you still have any iPhones?” He replied, “Oh yes, we have iPhones.” The next thing I remember is tearing off to the Columbia Apple Store for my first iPhone.

I’m trading in my 16PM and thinking about leasing the 18PM, and it’s giving options for 12 month and 24 month leases but I’m confused as to why the 12 month lease is significantly less per month? Am I crazy?

I’m deciding between the same two colors, my 17PM is the dark blue and I really like it, so I was thinking Glacier this year but if it ends up being more silvery than blue I don’t know if I’d like it as much. I so also like the burgundy but then I worry it might end up looking a little brownish in certain lights which I also wouldn’t like. 😂

Right now I’m leaning toward glacier but I could easily change my mind between now and Saturday, so we shall see.

No. It is the opposite. The 24 month lease payment is significantly less per month. For example a ProMax 256 gb is $53.99 for 12 months and $37.99 for 24 months.

I was wondering the same. This is what I am seeing with IPhone 16 Pro Max trade-in. For purchase of IPhone 18 Pro Max.

If I didn't already upgrade my foldable in January then I would be very tempted in a 512GB or 1TB Duo. I mean, I may still sell my TriFold and get the Duo this year (lol), but I'll wait for more hands-on reviews of iOS features on the Duo. None of the slab iPhone models interest me. For me, it's either foldable or nothing and am glad Apple finally added one to the lineup.

I think it’s got to do with depreciation of the device, after 12 months the device has depreciated less than after 24 months? I could be wrong though!
