I got that message from Apple. I called Citizents last night and a clearly clueless woman said my app was pending. I called this morning and a seemingly more savvy woman said it was approved yesterday, they're just slammed so haven't sent out all the approval emails yet.

I don’t think it’s necessarily attractive, but I’m pretty neutral on it, it’s just a phone. I am super happy though about the orange because I’ve been desperate for some real color on my Pro Max!
I have att and have the message that they will send me a one time notification. I’m doing carrier financed to get the $1100 credits. Is your coworker doing that?
Yeah, not crazy about the back design but the PM is the most advanced phone they have. I thought about the Air, I prefer how it looks, but it lacks the oomph from me. Went with the PM in Cosmic Orange, 512 GB. That's the capacity I have now, more than half is free so can't justify more storage.
Exactly. A big reason why I chose the orange as well. Even though I would have loved a metallic red. I think that would have been a hit. I also feel that pictures don't often do phones justice, google Cosmic Orange iphone and you'll see about 50 different shades of orange.
Edit to add: I noticed in one of ijustine's videos the rectangle on the back of the phone seemed to disappear from the angle of the lighting. That's the only part of the look I'm not liking so that gives me hope.

I used the Apple Store app to set things up using AT&T carrier financing, but I don't see the option to choose AT&T anytime next; only 36-month pricing is available. Does anyone know if this will be an updateable option on launch day?
So did anybody wake up this morning with 2nd thoughts on their choice of phone or in general? I have my preorder in for the pro max in orange, but the Air elves were haunting me all night. And that Cloud White is gorgeous.

I am on the iUP. If I choose to upgrade this year and get in-store pickup, can I still opt for a mail in kit for my 16 instead of returning it in-store? I am a little too OCD and paranoid to try and deal with a backup/restore in the apple store and would like to be able to take my time in case any issues arise.
Also, last time I was able to select the T-mobile set-up later option, as I have Visible and could not authenticate with a carrier upon making my order. Can anyone confirm if that works this year too?
I have my pre-order ready to roll on iUP. 16P 256GB Cosmic Orange. Downsizing from the 16PM for one hand usability and weight. This will also be the first year I do pickup in store. I have always shipped either to my home or to the office. But after a recent out of state move, I found that all the apartments here restrict access to the interior of the buildings (no doorman) and have a secure package room that carriers have a passcode for to drop off. I asked the management about packages requiring a signature and they said that UPS/FedEx won't deliver to the package room, despite being secure, if it requires a signature. So, in store pickup it is. I'll have to live vicariously through this forum when it comes to tracking phones from China to doorsteps.
My coworker did “buy”. So I’m wondering if Apple has to wait for carriers to provide them the payment installment info first. Because just for the heck of it, I selected the buy option and it removes the notify me, to “Get ready for pre-order”.
I'm not sure, I don't remember which one they hit, so I temporarily unfroze all three.
I got a new text from them this morning with status, but the site still times out over and over when I try to view the PDF link. I'm on hold with them now, with the most annoying whistling-song for hold music.
Same here! Finally, some eye popping color! My new vehicle is bright red because, well, I love red, and because the shades of grey in autos today is so boring. Looking forward to Cosmic Orange!🍊

me me I'm currently split between Air and Pro Max (been a pro max user for a long time and lighter phone seems nice). Guess I got the day to decide
So what did you have to do to get the phone show up as pre-approved? Did you go thru the pre-approval process from the start or is it in your Apple account?

FWIW: I've been a Pro Max user, 11 through 16, for the big screen and ProMotion.
With the Air having a big screen and ProMotion, I'm now going thin and light for a change. Also digging the Sky Blue.
Though if I was going Pro Max, I'd get the orange without question. Such an awesome color.
What's your message? Was your iPhone Upgrade Program loan for your iPhone 17 unit denied?
