I have pre-orders set for both silver and orange and I'm still dithering. In some of the hands-on that I've watched, the ceramic on the back of the orange looks more creamsicle-ish. The aluminum is gorgeous, but I don't really care for that two-toned look. I'm so conflicted. Maybe it looks better in person.

If I'm able to on Friday morning, I'm going to order for pu at the store on Saturday. I'm also getting a Watch Series 11 and the new AirPods. (Here, Apple, take all my money!) The Watch is coming UPS on Friday — I had no option for store pu — and I'm afraid to miss the watch delivery if I try to pick up the phone on the same day. I scheduled the AirPods for Saturday pick up, so I might as well get the phone at the same time.

I haven’t upgraded from Apple since the 12 PM. Does anyone know when the “Get Ready for PreOrder” on Apple with AT&T is available?

Right now it just says “We'll let you know if AT&T Installments Plans become available to get ready before pre-order.”

I signed up for notification for AT&T Financing (within the Apple Store app), I got the notifications to "Get Ready" just now and it is now listed at the bottom that Financing Financing Plans will be available at pre-order. :(

That's what mine changed to as well.

Same for me. I currently have it saved though. This is the first year I'm not rushing/concerned about having a phone on launch day, so no biggie.

Apple to Apple is easy. This is why I am a fool and considering picking up the Air along with the Pro Max. Hopefully I am not a fool on Friday when I pre-order.
That’s going to be us 😆

Same for me. I guess it will be a Friday morning scramble for launch day orders.

I think I'm going down from the Max to the Pro Deep Blue this year. I like my phone but will save a little bit of money. The trade-in value is fine and I have a bit of Apple gift cards saved up so will be able to get it for a decent price. Not going through T-Mobile so I'm not locked in and with my current plan, Apple's trade in offer is better than what TMO is offering me.

@JBinPDX...you're kinda my twin because I'm choosing the pickup option this year and along with the Orange iPhone, I've also opted to replace my old AppleWatch and AirPods well :). Just FYI...I was able to do the pickup option for the Watch and AirPods with a specific day/time so it should have been available for you. I'm just hoping that when the iPhone pre-orders open...that I can chose the same day/tine for pickup.

Does Apple charge a restocking fee? I’m so torn. I’ve always been a pro user and have a pre-approval for a Blue 256 Pro but part of me wants the air.

If I buy both, could I return one without any fees?

I’m ATT as well and will be ordering on the ATT site first thing. Last time I tried to do the trade in/finance on Apple it was a major cluster. I’m usually done by 8:10 latest.

Citizens is very frustrating for me this year. I haven’t received an approval email. When I call, a rep tells me my app is pending. The next time I call the next rep tells me it’s approved. Still no email so I call again and the next rep tells me it’s pending, and then the next rep tells me it’s approved. Then they tell me that I should already have gotten an email, but then they tell me that I won’t get an email until I actually place my order on Friday. And just now a rep told me I might never get a email. Did everyone who’s financing through Citizens get an approval email?

So what did you have to do to get the phone show up as pre-approved? Did you go thru the pre-approval process from the start or is it in your Apple account?
I got a get ready email from Apple. I went through the whole process smoothly and the Apple Store shows the phone is ready for pre-order. But then I got an email from Appme that my Citizens app is pending (because I had to freeze Equifax). Then I got a text from Citizens asking me to verify it was really I who submitted the app, to which I replied yes. But no approval email from Citizens. Every time I call they give me a different status. Maybe they have some new reps because they seem totally clueless.
