Vaja Leather Agenda - Best Case Yet!

To each his own. We don't tell you what case to carry your iPad in so no need to do it to us.
I've had mine for almost a month now, it was worth every penny. I use my iPad all day at work and again at home in the evening. The $230 total (got it before the price went up) I spent on it, used over the life of my iPad was one of the best investments I have made in my opinion. If the next iPad comes out next year and is a slightly different size - I will buy a new Vaja case for it without hesitation.
I purchased two other leather cases for my iPad before getting the Vaja, they were nice, but don't even come close to the quality, looks, and usefulness of this one.
Ok, apparently it isn't, how about using it as a stand on your lap, or a bed say, is it stable, and I mean the tall standing position too.
Wow, some of their cases go up to $350. That's bordering the price for the cheapest iPad. That's insane. You can get other leather cases for much less, I think...
Just heard back with the same 'final stage of production' line I heard a month ago. Oh well, I'm not going to let it bug me.

DUH - I got inpatient and ordered a SGP leather Argos case in black two days ago - I'll compare them and put one up on Ebay after they arrive.

Don't feel too bad. I ordered mine on May 22. The good news is I am in the "Final stage of production."
Just glad I bought a Noreve in the meantime. Works great, custom leather, and shipped within days of placing the order.
For Pete's sake - with all of the cases we're acquiring, we're starting to sound worse than "Sex in the City"! I have one showing up tomorrow and another coming on August 2nd.
Granted they are great looking cases but they are way too expensive. I can get a year of the Financial Times and a slew of magazines on Zinio for that price. It seems silly for a chunk of cow. That's more expensive than my Gucci wallet?

I just got a surprise package today. I had no notification of delivery or anything. It just showed up.
I got the Dark Cocoa and Friar Brown combo. Even better than I thought. My wife was amazed by it. She want a version now.

Pot calling kettle black? Why did you buy a gucci wallet when you can walk into any Kmart and buy a wallet that does the same thing for $10 bucks.
His Gucci wallet may actually be a knock off because I have a Gucci wallet and it was more than the Vaja Agenda. I think I paid around $300 for the wallet and just over $200 for the iPad case, which is much larger than a wallet.
I have no problem paying more for quality products. I feel the Vaja Agenda is a quality product. I have no remorse whatsoever.

The first post on this thread quotes $200 for the Vaja Agenda 2 but the Vaja site states $280 + postage charges; therefore, the price is circa $300 + local taxes.
I have the Vaja ivolution Top SP iPhone case (custom colour) and it was both expensive and hasn't worn well. The top clip has weakened (the same system they use on the clipping iPad case) and the leather had split all around the clip. I take care of my cases and my iPhone is a second phone; therefore, it doesn't get daily use - so after 12-months, for the case to look so ratty, I'd say is disappointing. I certainly wouldn't spend $300+ on another case from them.
Personally, I think Vaja cases are over priced and under developed.

Hi everyone, I'm currently using an official apple case but time to switch to something which looks good and smells leather!
I've had three cases for iPhone now so I became a vaja addict as I've always be in love with my cases.
The thing is, for the iPad, I don't know which one to chose between the ivolution top and the agenda (1 or 2). The + of the top is the reading comfort, the iPad in hands, and also the looks and the price. I would say that I use it more and more to read, and clipboard amazed me today for that.
On the other hand, like now, I am typing with the stand folded for the typing position and I know I will miss that a lot with the simple top case.
So, what do I favour, reading or typing? Not easy knowing that I would say it is half/half... How is the holding comfort with the agenda case?
What do you guys think?
