I think they make it more popular to a degree on TV, not much, but certainly a bit. Here in Vancouver, though, it makes a HUGE different. You can host it in a tiny little city, but you wont get massive crowds in the streets.

President of the IOC said these are biggest crowds since Sidney 2000, and they are comparable to that - if not bigger. And yes, Sidney 2000 was summer games!

Anyways, I think the bigger the city, the better. Hopefully the next one is hosted on somewhere bigger and colder than Russia.

Somewhere bigger and colder than Russia may also be the result of some confusion,Russia is roughly twice the size of Canada and the largest country in the world and while there may be one or two places colder I think they'd be in Antarctica which is more or less uninhabited.

Canada wins another gold! We may not have as many medals in total as other countries, but we're only one behind the US / Germany in total gold medals.

The winner of the olympics is the country with the most golds according to the IOC. I STILL BELIEVE!

I liked the beginning and the ending, but for the most part, the game was kind of meh. The Canadians sat on their lead for the whole game. I had a feeling it would bite them in the ass, and it almost did.

If I watched games like that every day, I would have a heart attack. That was tense at the end.

As it usually happens, right? Get ahead, relax, the other team almost catches up...and then you wake up. The end there was really tight and could have easily gone either way.
