Did you get charged yet? I didn't get a notification unless it went in my junk folder. I ordered on 10/24 as well

Chody I do think the difference between having to depend on wifi versus really being mobile is a significant one.
Now, is that difference enough to make me prefer AT&T?....so far, NO !
I've done some head to head tests since right now i have iPhones on both networks, and Verizon is clearly doing better.

Got charged, it is coming from China since I went direct with Apple.
I ordered mine right from Verizon. It's still processing. Still excited.
I just realized all my iPods were gifts though I had always bought my own computers. The iPhone is just way cool for me, I've waited so long!
I purchased one on 10/22 at the Verizon store. The charge went through yesterday, but no shipment notification yet.
Edit: I spoke too soon. I received notification just a little while ago that it's been overnighted for Monday delivery. Yay.

It shipped!
I ordered mine on Saturday, October 22nd through Verizon over the phone. Was charged today and received an email a few hours after that saying that it shipped and that I should receive it by Monday the 31st by 3PM. Whoo hoo! Happy Halloween to me!

My timeline...
- Ordered 2 White 16G via phone order on 10/20. Estimated ship date 11/4.
- Got an email yesterday (10/28) @ 3PM that one of my orders was on hold. Called Verizon immediately. On the second of my two orders the payment was not accepted (I assume because I put both on the same credit card and the CC company thought it was just a duplicate charge?)
- Verizon rep re-opened the second order and re-ran the charge. It went through and I didn't lose my place in line (since they used the same order #).
- Got both shipping confirmations and tracking #'s from Fedex this morning. Due to be delivered on Monday!

So I just went in and reserved my 16GB white 4S. They said it would be shipped on 11/11 though now, instead of 11/4. Guess I missed that shipment .

Yeah I'm sure there will be times I want to talk and surf, but I don't think it will be enough for me to put up with my area's AT&T dead spots. And also, I want to get off contract with AT&T so that I can be free to get the i5 with Verizon. Hopefully LTE.
Just ordered 4S 16GB thru Apple, was going to order last week, but the shipping info thing made me back off. I was told by VZW that, since I'm pre-ordering, the phone will be shipped to billing address on file. Problem is, im in college about 2 hours away from home. So my plan was to wait until 11/4 (which Apple said the phone will be available again), and order it so I didnt need to change my billing address. Shouldve just ordered
Logged into my Apple account, went to order, and now it says "Ships 11/11" =[. I sacked up, changed my VZW billing address to my college campus address, and put the order through. Now I have to wait an extra week+. DAYUM

Anyone in Singapore got a Shipping Confirmation yet?
I ordered mine on the 21st (about 20 minutes after the announcement of international orders). Says Delivery estimate between 1/11/2011 and 9/11/2011. Just seems like it shouldn't take long considering some peoples iPhones are shipping out of Shenzhen.

I got charged yesterday and my order status was updated. It now has an order number but no tracking and it still says due to be shipped 11/4
I am in the northeast and a lot of areas still have no power so I have no idea what will happen with this.

Ordered on the 27th from a Vzw store and got the email yesterday it shipped. suppoes to be delivered today by 3. Work wont go fast enough!!
Wow, it sucks for us AT&T customers. Our wait times are way longer if we walk in the store.
I was surprised because she told me it would ship out on Friday the 4th, and I probably wouldn't get it until Tuesday the 8th.
Went to the Verizon Store yesterday and ordered a 32GB iPhone.
Said ships by 11/11 when the lady looked it up in the store.
But when I got home it said ships by 11/18.
Is that normal?
What do you guys think, when can I expect to get my phone?

WOW, I ordered mine on Nov. 1st, and it says it ships on Nov. 18th.
I'm in Virginia too.
Guess that could mean I'll get an email tomorrow

Probably because your certain store is getting a shipment on 11/11, while if you order online, you don't get to get one from that shipment.
Nine days till mine's shipped... the wait is killing me haha.
Well, also when I check my order status it says 11/18.
But I sure hope they will come in faster.
