I just got off the phone with VZW after receiving an email saying my order is on hold and not due to SHIP until the 21st.
I didn't bother being angry, thats not going to help anything, I just wanted to know when the charge is going to come out of my bank account cause I have rent to pay.
He couldn't answer that but asked me if I was excited about the new iPhone because "It features a new slide-out keyboard and holographic projector system."
I love stupid people...

I'm in NY also and still waiting to be charged. My order changed from the 14th to the 21st a couple hours ago, even though I ordered around 4a on the 7th. The vast majority of the people are still waiting (at least here in my office). Remember that most of the post you read on here are because they are the few who's order statuses have changed. There is a silent majority reading these and waiting for something to change on their status.

I ordered a 64 gb Black iPhone 4S. Mine now shows:
Courier :
Status: Your pre-order will deliver by 10/14/2011
Ship Date:
It looks just like that (with the blanks for ship date and courier).

Someone try using this to see if they come up with tracking info.
Track by reference, reference number is : (also have to put zip code and country)
Fedex:
NXXXX01_0000XXXX2 (Location number, then underscore, then order number. Order number must be 9 digits so put zero's in front)
UPS:
Same as above, but no underscore in between and then 0101 after your order number so:
NXXXX010000XXXX20101
Somoene from early on that has had their credit card charge, see if they give you tracking info!

Tried that using my ACE Order Location and then the 4 digit order number from the status page and got nothing on both UPS and FedEx. Either that's wrong or labels haven't been created yet.
