Verizon 4S Preorder Status Thread

Mine has be stuck on "Your order has been sent for processing." all afternoon, but my cc has been charged.
 
I pre-ordered 2 white 16GB at 12:15am PDT on 10/7. My card was charged today at 12:14pm PDT. This is what I see when I check my order status:

It basically just says will deliver by the 14th. I'm sure this will update within the next day or so and have a new status. Continuously checking isn't going to make it happen any faster :)

I'm replacing my OG droid as well. Order status page has gone blank, any my card has been charged.

So at least this is all a step in the correct direction.
 
I ordered at about 2:50am Eastern (10 minutes before official start of preorders).

32GB White 4S.

My card was charged today and my preorder status has been updated to delivered by the 14th! :D
 
Has anyone that had had 10/14 ship dates up until today, change back to 10/21?

Yes, mine changed to 10/21 when my status changed to "We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet."

No authorization on my card yet.
 
Is there anybody from California or the West Coast seeing any activity on their order??

Aside from the following:

should I be worried if I purchased around 3:05am EST and I still have not been charged? Still says the 14th, but the fact that everyone seems to be getting charged is freaking me out

Bought 10/8 at 4am. 32gb black. Sat at estimated delivery of 10/21 for a long time now I get the attached. (see attached)

They charged my credit card. does this mean I'm getting it this friday even tho its says 10/21?

same here. got mine in around 3:07 and havent had anything. starting to worry....
 
those that are waiting on charges, did you order via credit card or debit card?

I ordered my 16GB black iphone around 4am NY time on October 7th. I live in New York City. The expected ship date changed to October 21 (from October 14) about two or three hours ago when the status went from "We received your order and it is in process." to "We received your order and it is in process. Payment not taken yet."

that means your not getting it on the 14th

So Cal here. My card has been charged and my status page now looks like the screen cap jffmrk posted.

this is the same here, happened within the last hour but i got the

I ordered at 2:23 AM CST (23 minutes after preorder start) Friday the 7th
Received the email shown today. Now it's "On hold" and says my order date is today??? Other photo shows current status of preorder and says expected ship date of next 10/21??? Original confirmation email told me expected ship date of 10/14. Status now says "We have received your order and it is in process"?
I ordered 23 minutes after the preorder began, I should receive it this Friday! :mad:

anyone order a 32 or 63gb after 6pm on the 7th but before midnight on the 8th with a 10/14 delivery date?

Understood, but it says 10/21 for a lot of people who ordered right when preordering began. They are clearly having system issues, as their twitter account even said regardless of what the online system says, your email confirmation has the right date. The fact that they charged the card lets you know they are processing the order. Verizon has confirmed that they don't bill your card until they are ready to ship.

Thanks. Thats what I thought too! Why charge my credit card for the full amount and put a pending order on it when its not close to shipment?

I'm starting to think that my 10/21 delivery by means nothing.
