Verizon 4S Preorder Status Thread

Anyone like me? I ordered on the phone around 7AM on 10/7 because I was having issues with online ordering. I have no charges on my account, no tracking info or anything. Just confirmation and the regular "your order is being processed" with expected ship date of 10/14 =__=:confused:
 
was anyone actually able to get through the verizon site? I've been clicking on "check your order status" all day from my confirmation email and it hasn't actually worked once!

I got a iPhone 4S 16GB White and it says "Delivers Oct 14 via Standard Shipping"

but it still says "Processing Items" i ordered it at around 5 p.m. Pacific Time

i live in Salinas, California! Cupertino, CA is like 1 hour away from where i live!:mad: and it is still processing the only email i got from apple was when i ordered it confirming that i ordered it that's it. i haven't gotten any more emails from them.
And yes i ordered it from the Apple website

so when will i get my phone?:(

same for me i think we will get it just means being shipped from US

California has absolutely nothing to do with it. The iPhones are produced in China, then shipped either to major FedEx or UPS hubs, or Sprint or Verizon distribution facilities. The only iPhones that will go to Cupertino are the ones being delivered to Apple employees and other citizens of Cupertino.

well that sucks i still hope i get the iphone soon
 
So I know this has probably already been answered but I don't have time to read back through all the pages. My order status on Verizon no longer says "processing" or anything, it just has an order number and this:


Courier :
Status:
Ship Date:


And yes, all of that is blank.

Any thoughts??

You're good to go you will get it Friday or Thursday. We will probably find out tomorrow if anyone will get there phone on Thursday.

You caught it in the middle of the process. Your credit card will probably be charged in the near future, then the status will change to "ship to receive on 10/14/11." I saw this screen briefly before it fully updated for me.
 
My new status...

I am in Seattle and oredered the 64gb black. This is now what my order status says:


Order Number: 26***
Tracking Number:
Hide tracking details

Courier :
Status: Your pre-order will deliver by 10/14/2011
Ship Date:

No sign of a credit card charge, though my bank is pretty slow at posting.
 
Change of address

Just called VZW to change the address, the rep was able to pull up my order using the phone numbers I am porting from ATT, she saw all the details and changed the address. Confirmed arrival date of 10/14. My status shows the same as all other early orders, so everyone calm down and breath. Only a few more days.
 
stupid people

Why do people really believe everything the VZW rep says. Really guys. Have you ever called them before. You can call five times and get five different answers. These people don't know what is going on. They read a screen and that is all the information they have.

Shipping on the 14th... of course the screen says shipping on the 14th. why because if it said shipping on the 13 people would be calling in. "how come my friends shipped on the 12th and mine says the 13th?" it says the 14th because it is a generic answer from VZW.

Your phones will arrive on the 14th plain and simple. You will all have shipping numbers by Thursday night don't worry. Have any of you ever watched an iPhone launch before? geez.

If your credit card has not been charged....dont worry it will be "unless your over your limit".
 
well this sucks I ordered the black 64gb on saturday the 8th my order number is 57*** and it says deliver by 21 october 2011. :mad:

My capital one card took a while and it still hasn't posted but my available credit is down the amount of an iPhone. If you have that page you should be good to go.
 
Just checked my credit card account and my card was charged today (not a hold but an actual charge). Verizon status page appearance changed and it states it's to be delivered "by" 10-14-11. Still no tracking number, carrier, etc info, but I assume it's Fed-Ex.

Ordered 64gb White I-Phone on 10-07-11 at 3:15 AM central time.

ETA: My new status page is the same as acepaul's.

These posts are funny. :D This is why ordered with apple.com even though I am a Verizon customer. Not sure why anybody would order on Verizon's website over Apple's. :confused: Already got my shipping label confirmation and everything from UPS. :)

1st world problem, I just wanted to know the shipper because, I know both of my ups and fedex drivers. I want to swap one of the phones I ordered. So I have to wait till they arrive and then go to the verizon store to change out the iPhone 8b phone for a iPhone 4s. I thought my wife wouldn't mind, the "cheaper" phone but I got get her the 4s. The only way to swap them out is if I stand in line at the store. it might difficult to get a 16gb white then too.

both of my lines were upgrades and supposedly in order to get the renew every two credit (that promo is going away from now on) I had to order form verizon.


...and my card was charged the full amount already. Not just a hold on the funds.
