Verizon 4S Preorder Status Thread

I'm in the same boat as you - I ordered on October 10 at 11pm and it still says 'processing' and my CC has not been charged. Verizon says it'll ship by 10/21/11

Congratulations on your iPhone 4 pre-order. We know that you're anxiously awaiting the arrival of your new phone. Since you placed your order on October 11th you should receive your phone by October 21st. Once the phone ships you will receive an email with the tracking number. You can also periodically check the status of your order on-line via your My Verizon account.
1. Sign in to My Verizon.
2. Click Support tab.
3. Select Get Status.
4. In the order status, enter your order number.
5. Enter the last name as it appears in the order.
6. Click Submit.
The status of the order will display and if a tracking number is available it will be displayed.
For anyone else that is looking for shipping dates, below I have provided the expected delivery date of orders as of October 16th.
*Customers who purchased the iPhone 4S 16 GB starting at 3:01AM. ET through 5:59PM. ET on 10/07/2011 will have a delivery date of 10/14/2011.
* Customers who purchased the iPhone 4S 16 GB as of 6:00PM ET on 10/07/2011 through 10/12/11 at 8:59PM ET will have a delivery date of 10/21/2011.
* Customers who purchased the iPhone 4S 32GB and 64GB as of 10:00AM ET on 10/08/2011 through 10/12/11 at 8:59PM ET, will have a delivery date of 10/21/2011.
* Customers who purchased the iPhone 4S 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB on 10/12/11 as of 9:00AM will have a delivery date of 10/28/11.
* Customers who purchased the iPhone 4S 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB on 10/14/11 as of 8:00AM ET will have a delivery date of 10/28/11.

Ordered my 4S on Oct-11th @ 9am with a iPhone 4 for my wife, up till Saturday, it had an expected ship date of Oct-14th, but yesterday it changed to "Expected Ship Date: Not available at this time".
Not sure what's up, guess I have to call VZW CS...

CONFIRMED via VZW Customer Support (twitter): If you pre-ordered your iPhone before October 12, your iPhone will be delivered on October 21, 2011. You should be receiving a shipping notification via email in the next few days (wednesday).
Thanks for posting the delivery schedule. As some of you know, I ordered on the morning of the 8th. I received the email today at 730am that my order was cancelled. I called verizon & they got back to me an hour later saying the the email is an error. At about 1130am, I received a email from vz saying the the original was an error. I never cancelled my order. The rep on the phone said 'alot' of people received this email.
Based on the posted schedule, I can expect two iphones on Friday. I'm glad that I didn't get too uptight about this preorder thing, but Verizon really screwed this entire process up bad. Who the heck is sending these cancellation emails out?
I have at least 4 apple stores within an hour drive, maybe will try this route next time.

I have a question, on "my verizon" I am eligible for a $50 loyalty credit and the iPhone 4S 16GB shows for $149 now when I did the check through the Apple store online it showed $199, can I get the $149 price if I buy at the Apple store?
UPDATE - just spoke to a VZW CS Rep, my ship date has been bumped to Oct-28th...
I did ask if I could cancel my order and buy it at a local VZW store, the rep asked me which stores I would try to buy it at and even called the stores for me while we were on the line, unfortunately the 3 local stores are also sold out. So, it looks like I still have to wait...bummer...
Wow that stinks. I guess I should keep monitoring my ship date for this so I'm not surprised come this weekend.
I never thought about pre ordering. I guess I've been lucky these past few times. Usually a few days after release I just go to the nearest apple store and they have them in stock. I always get black so maybe that's all they had. Don't know though.

Sunday Oct 9. Went to a local Verizon store because Best Buy wouldn't do me up for some reason. (My upgrade date said 16-Dec but in the Verizon web site, it said that I could upgrade now at the $200 price but wouldn't get the Loyalty price, so BB said no. The Verizon store said yes. So I made my choice there.
)I stopped asking questions at that point because my Droid 1 is ticking me off. A phone should NOT make me angry! I want simplicity and ease in my life now.
What was the time difference between Verizon charging your credit card and shipping your iPhone?
Prof - I received the email today and my CC was charged today - I don't know the hour-difference since this is the first time I checked my CC account (7pm ET) - received the email at 4:30pm ET. Hope that helps.
