Verizon 4S Preorder Status Thread

Thanks! Here's hoping I get the shipping confirmation email either later tonight or early tomorrow. :D
 
Okay, so I'm at the point where my 4S has shipped and I can presign for the package, but it won't let me. On the Apple Store website, when I click presign, it just takes me back to the account login screen with no indication as to if the presign went through or not. Any help or am I doing something wrong?

Lucky you. I ordered mine the 8th and it won't be delivered til the 20th.
 
ordered mine the 8th, verizon support messed up the shipping address, (over the phone), new order, they messed it up again! :eek: , 3rd order (finally in by the 10th), still waiting for it to ship. hope its tomorrow :) so ready to enjoy my new phone!

I did ask if I could cancel my order and buy it at a local VZW store, the rep asked me which stores I would try to buy it at and even called the stores for me while we were on the line, unfortunately the 3 local stores are also sold out. So, it looks like I still have to wait...bummer...

UPDATE: got a shipping notification that it will be delivered tomorrow. VZW CS rep obviously doesn't know what's going on.... At least I will have my 4S !

I'm jealous. Ordered on the 9th , and still no charge and no e-mail.

I wonder how they triage the preorders.

Hopefully I'll be getting an e-mail tonight or tomorrow.
 
My order tracking page turned into an actual status order this morning (instead of the preorder page with the preorder number) with the tracking number as a blank.

Should be any time now.

Just checked on Verizon.com and my order status is completed! Still no shipping info yet but completed beats awaiting inventory any day. Ordered 10/11/11. Expected ship date 10/21/11.
 
Ordered 10/10 over the phone. Just told by a VZW CSR that ship date is 10/21 would receive 10/25.

Order confirmation email said received by 10/21, online has always said will SHIP on 10/21.

Seems like they are all over the place.
 
mine changed about 20 minutes ago to show the order number and a blank courier and no tracking number, any one else?? !
 
Ordered black 32gb version online on 10/10 around 10:30am Eastern and received my phone this morning. My original order confirmation told me to expect it to ship on 10/21.
 
Still waiting, ordered on the 8th. Expected ship date 10/21, also called Verizon to confirm web status.
 
does anyone know the trick to find the tracking number? track by reference on fedex or something?

Before, they were using the telephone number as the reference number. Now it seems like a mix of the actual order number (not the preorder number) and some random 8 number digits.

:(
