So based on what I've been reading, is Verizon basically doing a shipment of iPhones a week right now, with delivery typically on Fridays? I ask because I've got a preorder currently scheduled to ship on the 28th, and I'm wondering if there's a fair chance the phone will actually arrive here that day. I've got a business trip tentatively set to start the following Monday, but I don't want to leave town without my new iPhone!![]()
I preordered this week but then just now I saw my black 64GB pop up at my local Apple store. Reserved it. Now I'm canceling my preorder.
Apple stores do not honor new every 2 and their system makes you choose an existing plan, rather than just renewing your current plan... I assume you could call Verizon right after activating to revert to your old plan. Regardless, it ain't a flawless process.

It seems like a lot of people are still awaiting delivery from pre-orders before the 14th.
I ordered mine on 10/19, with an expected ship date of 10/28 (this friday). It's still in pre-order status, with no additional info.
I'm hoping to get it sooner....the wait is frustrating!!
Anyone else order on 10/19? Receive any tracking info yet?

I pre-ordered on 10/20 over the phone. 2 white 16G 4S's. Estimated ship is 11/4 for me. I love how the Apple stores are getting the majority of stock. Sucks for me since they won't honor NE2 -- so it would cost me an additional $100 for the 2 phones to get them now vs waiting a few weeks.

Just curious, but how are you guys actually viewing your estimated shipping date?
I ordered on the phone on 10/18 and I was emailed a pre-order confirmation, order # and a 'ship by' of 10/28. However, as of today my card hasn't even been charged.
In addition, when I try the online status check, it just returns a blank page with the order # that I just typed in.. so absolutely no info. No date, no anything. The only date I can see was from my original email.
Is there another link I should be using?

I just get "We are experiencing technical difficulties, try later". I've had that for days. I will note I have a business account so theoretically there isn't a last name, but I've tried entering my name and what 'could' be assumed as the last name for the business (as it has a space)

how exactly do you know I know that i'm in pre-order status?
all it shows for me when I plug in my info is a blank screen that just says order number, then the order number. And in the slot next to tracking number there is nothing.
