I got mine 11:55. It said the date like, towards the very end I think? Also in conformation email and very beginning on the picture of the phone which said "delivery by 9/25"

I can't recall if it said a delivery date on the web -- the confirmation email I got says "Ships 9/25" not delivered by this date. But in the past I believe all my Verizon iPhone preorders have said this and hey have always been delivered on launch. So I am not too worried. But, I am curious if any others have a different confirmation. Especially because I somehow got my order in 11:46 pacific (when it shouldn't have been open yet).

I have an "Internet Order Number" and Order Status doesn't say anything. Is this the type of order number others also have?

this is one of the benefits from having ordered from Apple. Better tracking.

lol. I did the same thing last night. I had spreadsheets and ROI charts. My wife thought I was nuts.

At the end of the day I came to the conclusion that if I was within a reasonable driving distance to an Apple Store (which I am not) I would have done the Apple Upgrade program. Since I am about 4 hours from the closest Apple Store and the gas to get there and back would offset the savings of the less out of pocket on the AppleCare+ I will go with financing through Verizon.

Hope you don't mind a couple of questions. I went with Verizon financing, but realized that I never read the fine print. If I pay it all off rather than financing it over the full 24 months, is there anything stopping me from upgrading again next year? Does that differ from the Apple Upgrade program in that you don't pay off your phone, you just trade it in to Apple?

On the Verizon financing plan, I'm not promising to trade it in or anything, right? If I pay it off I own it?

My e-mail confirmation says, "Delivers 9/25 by Standard Shipping"

Got mine in 6s Plus 64GB Space Gray
Ordered from the Verizon website to upgrade an existing line. It let me in 3 minutes early

Interesting that yours in a preorder number and says deliver by 9/25. Mine is an "internet order number" and says Ships 9/25. I got my order in at 11:46 Pacific somehow -- it let me order so I went with it.

I currently have a Space Grey 64GB iPhone 6. Can I remove the SIM card from this device and put it in my new 64GB silver iPhone 6S and begin using it without any "activation" necessary? I've never done this before so I have no clue. If I want to sell my old Space Grey phone, do I simply put the unused SIM card that came from my 6S into it?

I know this is for 16Paws but yes, that's correct. Under the Apple financing you have to turn in the phone in order to upgrade at the 1-year mark. Under the Verizon financing, you can keep the phone if you pay it off at any time. So with Apple you get the AppleCare included but you can't keep the phone.

swap sim cards and restore from backup and the phone will activate.

The person I finally placed the order with last night said that I still need to agree to the terms of the device payment plan and that I should be receiving an e-mail. But that if I didn't to log onto My Verizon. Does anyone know where that would be?

Hahaha, wow, MR 'blowed up real good' last night :D

So I set my iPhone to wake me at 2:40a, feel asleep watching Futurama :D

I actually woke up at 2:35a on my own, I have a pretty good biological alarm.

Had no slowdown at all on Verizon.com, and the pre-order come up a touch early! Maybe 2-3 minutes (assuming all the system clocks involved were in sync)

Order number xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Ships by 09/25/2015 :)

(1) 6S, Rose Gold 64GB
(1) 6S Plus, Space Gray 64GB

Order confirmation email come up immediately after the order.

Oh yeah, we were no-contract, owned our current phones, went with Verizon installment, figured WTH not use somebody else's money at 0% (hopefully I didn't miss any fine print ...)

That was an option in addition to full price, and sub'ed was not, though in doing my test buy through Apple, it was (I didn't want another contract).

I ordered just before midnight too, a space gray 128GB, but I just got told the ship date is Oct 7!

That's my ship date also. Which is sort of BS because Apple is still saying 2-3 weeks for my model. I'm telling myself that it may ship early...

Through the VZW website right at midnight PST, I ordered my iPhone 6s Plus 64GB Silver and things went very smoothly. My wife was torn as whether to upgrade or not, and told me when she woke up this morning that she wanted to go ahead and get one. So, I put through another order through the VZW website for a iPhone 6s 64GB Rose Gold. Process was just as smooth and says 9/25 delivery, and that was 6 hours after pre-orders went up. Hopefully the VZW website isn't lying regarding the 9/25 ship date for her phone.

I dont have a preorder confirmation. I have the email order confirmation that is at 11:59 PM. I just talked to a sales rep, they see the order in the system and the ship date is Oct 7!

I tried using the link you have but it returns me to the vzw home page.

So this is a changed ship date, even though your order confirmation said ship by or deliver by September 25?

Yes. :(

Im on the phone with a supervisor, Armando. He confirmed my order is there, and that it was one of the first ones that came through right at 3AM (Eastern time).

It sucks that I cant go to a store, and cant order off the Apple website. Having to deal with the business part of VZW rarely has a positive outcome.

When I called, the person did not have any kind of precise information for me. She just looked at the schedule and the schedule had ordered times and expected ship date. He didn't seem to know precisely what my order timewise and I had to tell her. Maybe the person you talk to was assuming a different order time.
