Yes. I arranged for them to hold for pick up and it says it will be available to pick up at 10am on 9/25.I know this has been asked. If I have sent to ups store can I still pick up on 9/25 if that's the delivery date? I have ups my choice. Id rather not have it sit at my door.
I'm mad, everybody's date changing or getting moved up, mines say 10/7 I would be happy if I get it before October, I ordered two on launch day both plus rose gold

Wow, so a very recent preorder is still shipping by the end of this week?
I preordered on vzw.com and it's saying 11/4. Maybe I should cancel it and go preorder in the store.
I can't emphasize this enough.I agree.. and with the way some of you are claiming to speak to these reps it's really no wonder you're getting bad service. I've worked in customer service where I had the capability to give the customer whatever they wanted if I felt like it and can tell you I would go out of my way to make sure the customer got screwed if they were treating me like dirt. Be nice. I know Verizon is the one who messed up, but being polite about it will get you much further.
I signed up for the UPS My Choice thing years ago (it's free) and after logging into my account and going to the tracking page it gives you options to change your delivery date or hold for pick up. I see some people were not able to get that to work yesterday so I'm not sure at what point it will work once it's been scanned. What steps did you go through to do this?
I've scheduled it to be picked up at a UPS facility for every iPhone launch (and every other valuable item I was expecting) and the only issue I've run into was it not being available right at 10am. I'd have to wait 10-15 minutes for the guy to bring the truck over and hunt for my package in it. I've never tried changing the delivery address so I can't tell you if that's risky or not.Is it safe to use the UPS website to change the delivery address or schedule a pickup.... or will it royally screw up my order? That's the last thing I need after I finally got a 9/25 release date.
I've been checking all day everyday hoping it changes, I will be perfectly fine with 9/30Im in the exact same boat (6s+ 64gb). I'm hoping for 9/30 since some of the 09/30 people got moved to 09/25. Just make sure you come back when you get it. I don't want to be all lonely tracking my progress after the 25th![]()
Just kidding, I figured it out. Your package has to be in UPS's hands before you're allowed to schedule anything (pick up or delivery window)
Mine just changed this morningMy account did the same thing a few days ago, then updated the shipping date to 9/25I think you will get it on time!
I recieved my email this morning with tracking number and expected delivery 9/25!

Here's my situation:quick update.
The package that has both phones that are being delivered is addressed to my wife. I have no idea why, but apparently Verizon put her name on the package rather than mine even though the confirmation email says my name.
I called UPS and asked them about holding the package at the Customer Care center near me. They told me that I CANNOT pick up the package. Even if I have an ID with the same last name and a utility bill (since the license has an old address) they will not released it. The options posted earlier on the thread are only for UPS Access Points (i.e. UPS Stores) and do not related to the UPS Customer Care center which they say operates under different guidelines and policies. SO if the packages is not addressed to you, and your licenses (or gov't ID) is out of date for whatever reason, you get to be like me and take the day off to wait for the UPS driver to show up.
Also another point is that IF you do pay to have a 2 hour window, UPS says that is only an estimated window and if they miss it you do not get a refund of you $8.
EDIT: Talked to another person and they stated that they "may" release the package but it is at the discretion of the person working.
