Verizon iPhone X activation problems

When you get further than the previous screen, get excited, then it fails again.

Was able to set up my phone but still no service (AT&T). Don't know what to do now. May just swap sim cards.

EDIT: Activated directly on website. Have service now.

Activated on which website? (I’m having the same problem right now).

I installed the SIM card from my iPhone 7 and it's still not working. Receiving the "Could Not Activate iPhone" screen. I've been able to get through to the next page showing my number, but then it goes back to "Could Not Activate iPhone" screen.

ATT here, having the same issue. I was actually able to get all the way through verifying my phone number... got all excited, and then the activation literally spun and spun, and timed out.

Got to my phone number screen, then clicked next and it kicked me out again. I just wanna play with my phone

edit: Got to the 3rd step at one point. Hopefully one of these times I can get all the way.

Nothing worse than getting to the zip/ssn screen to then get the message the servers are unavailable.

Same issue here with AT&T. Trying to activate using just the iPhone and then iTunes, still not working.. Almost 2 hours of trying.. Frustrating

Im confused. If you swap your SIM, way do you need to confirm zip and SSN? I don't recall doing this before. Is that new this year?

Is it odd I made it through initially, did my restore and I can access my home screen/apps, etc but I just got a popup that its not activated? All my stuff is still being sent to my 7+

So lame. Just unboxed my new X and immediately running into the "Could Not Activate iPhone" message. I did make it past the prompt to confirm my phone number with no issue, but cannot proceed further.

I did not turn on with the SIM that came with it, rather installed the SIM from my 7 Plus before powering on for the first time.

I called Verizon to report the issue. She apologized and then asked how I'm enjoying my new iPhone! I explained I hadn't been able to enjoy anything other than the activation screen.

Anyway, the reps on the phone seem to be having the same issues.

put in DFU mode - do a restore in iTunes, at least you'll be on 11.1!

I can't activate my phone either with my old SIM. It says activation server is temporarily unavailable.

Are you guys activating over WIFI or cellular?

Anyone else unable to activate their iPhone X on Verizon right now? I have tried over and over, and either get the message that the activation server is temporarily unavailable, or when I enter my zip code and last four of social security number it says they are incorrect and then eventually locks me out until I start over. Is it just me?

Yes! Been trying to activate my X for nearly 2 hours, same error message over and over again, "activation server is temporarily unavailable", VZ chat is not helping!!!
