I got my iPhone delivered early; 1030AM. I had zero issues - pop in the SIM, restore to 11.1 (had 11.0.1) and set up as new.

Looks like servers are getting overwhelmed.

For those who can't activate, did you purchase directly through Verizon? I remember a few years ago, those who purchased the 6 from Apple could not activate their phones because somehow the imei of those phones were not entered into the VZW system. Those who purchased directly from VZW, had no issues.
That is what VZ Chat is telling me now...that my Apple Order was incomplete and the information not sent over to VZ/correctly...

I️ don’t like you very much LOL. I️’ve had my phone since 10AM.

The fact that some people are occasionally able to get through to the second and third screen in the activation sequence makes this sound illogical. If the activation server was responding correctly and rejecting the device, this would not be happening. Also, the error message would be different.

Same here on Sprint. iPhoneX came in around 1 pm, its now 330 and I am still fussing with it. Messaged sprint online and got no help. Trying the DFU mode with restore to see if it works.

When connecting to iTunes all I saw was the word iphone in the screen as well.

I am getting the same blank screen

Same here. Wonder if it's because I'm running Sierra and not High Sierra.
[doublepost=1509738175][/doublepost]I've been trying for about 20 minutes now. Probably 50 "Try Again" attempts. Exactly one time I got to confirm my phone number but then went back. Haha

I think what's happening is that iTunes is experiencing the same issue. Cannot contact the activation server so it displays a white screen. I have a feeling this is all traffic.

I get to the page showing my number once every 15-20 tries, but then it goes back to the "Could Not Activate iPhone" page. I've reset, powered down/up, changed SIM cards.

The odd part I find is this. There is suppose to be a shortage of iPhone Ten, so why are the servers having issues? They never had issues with the iPhone 6 and that was more popular than the Ten (or at least they had more inventory.)
