Carrier Verizon Wireless 2019 iPhone Pre-Order Thread

I've had zero issues with order/delivered at lunch. I heard the truck and before I could get to the door, he already tossed it onto the porch and back in the truck. No signature, but whatever, guess that would be on Verizon.

I got the Gold 11 Pro Max, basically identical to the XS Max. I was tired of space gray, and it looks great. I would have MUCH preferred Red but that wasn't an option.

Onto the phone...it honestly feels like a worthless upgrade. I'm almost tempted not to wipe my XS Max and just send it back. By no means is it a bad phone, it's stunning, but feels identical.

I've been following my delivery all day, the UPS driver has been in my development 3 times today and he's currently about 3 blocks from my house. The last time he did the bigger side of the development and then left. My office has a window to the street and the eyeballs are peeled.
 
On FedEx vehicle for delivery as of 7:45am, deliver time by 8:00pm. 12:45 now here in SoCal and no updates. Hoping it gets delivered soon!
 
So now it sits on my desk at work, torturing me until I can go home....

So I get my shipping info late yesterday. It's shipping via USPS with scheduled delivery date of 9/23. No, it's suppose to be here today. I waited until the time our mail is usually delivered and the mail lady walks on past. No mail today.

So I called Verizon and asked why my order was not being delivered today as my order confirmation email confirmed it would be. I ask why does my email confirmation received at 7:16 am on 9/13 say delivery date of 9/20 and I receive a shipment confirmation from USPS with an estimated delivery date of 9/23? After several holds, the clown actually tries to tell me that today is the day the all phones ship out and none will be delivered today. He actually said they have not activated a single new iPhone 11 today. I said so you're telling me I can walk into a Verizon Store today and buy an iPhone 11 but Verizon hasn't activated a single new phone today. And he said yes. I said you are lying and he said he was being transparent. I was done at that point and hung up on him.
 
Is there any way for me to check the status of my Verizon order other than their shoddy My Verizon app? I feel like I may have missed something here. Stuck on processing with a 9/27 shipment date perpetually!!!

The only other place I checked before was through the Verizon website, but there isn’t much more information there.
 
Mine arrived this am at 9:30,saw the fedex guy walking up to my place when getting back from moving across the way!
 
I had a scare this morning, the FedEx guy knocked on my door at 11:30ish which is early, they usually are in my neighborhood around 1pm. I drop what I was doing and open the door and he’s already getting in his van, I can’t find a package on my porch or outside and I turn around and realize he placed it right next to the inside door and it wasn’t a box. It was bubble wrap envelope!!! I picked it up and it wasn’t my name or address on the package and it certainly wasn’t an iPhone! I threw it on a chair and cussed all way back to the kitchen. About 20 mins later I see the FedEx van coming back and I went out to wait. He said he realized at the next delivery it was the wrong package and gave me the right one with my iPhone! Phew!! I thought I was going to have to call FedEx and have a nightmare on my hands!
 
Guys, just got home and a Fedex box waiting for me. Before I left for work this morning, I printed the signature release form, signed it and taped it to my front door. Im so glad I come to this forum and every year I learn something. Thank you guys for sharing all your experiences because of that I had a very smooth Iphone delivery today. I will def come back next yr. Btw, who else is unboxing their Iphones on youtube? share it. Would love to see your reactions. ;)

Since I didn’t realize I wouldn’t be able to get Verizon to release my 11 pro my delivery was missed and won’t try again until Monday same time. So now I have to miss half a day of work Monday.
 
I swear my UPS driver has been doing circles around my house according to this follow my delivery map.
 
My wife’s green iPhone 11 was delivered by fedex at 3:00ish today (via fedex, I had to sign for it at home). My black iPhone 11 was delivered by UPS at 2:36pm and they left it on the porch along with her Apple Watch. I signed the signature release on their website.

Both phones activated immediately and did the wireless side by side transfer in roughly 40 min per phone (both coming from iPhone 7).

ended up going into the store 8 am and got lucky. snatch a 518gb MG PM. Wanted 256gb but i think i wanted the green more.
