Waiting Patiently for the White iPhone and Making Guesses to It's Availability Here

I'm certainly hoping for Thursday. I'd be sad if I have to wait until the 24th or later.

... It's not a new product. Apple is not going to create whole new launch for a product that already had a monumental launch. 1) White was suppose to be a part of that HUGE launch and 2) The hype would not be big enough

Mark my words, it's going to change to Available- Ships within ... - .... within the next two weeks.

No way Apple is going to make a separate launch. The most that I suspect is going to happen is when you go to apple.com, there will be a picture of a white iPhone and it will say "Now available" or something of that nature.

I don't necessarily believe Apple will do a pre order.

I do hope they'll do a pre order. I don't expect any sort of launch party/enormous lines out the door/media hype etc etc. It'd just be nice to be able to reserve one before hand. Even if its just creating a separate White iPhone 4 priority list at Apple Stores.

It'd suck if White iPhones just "showed up" one day with ZERO indication as to what day that would be.

They, including myself, sold our iPhones on craigslist a few days before release and then found out last minute that the white weren't going to be available. They needed a phone so we only had one option. If the original choice shows up within the 30 day window why wouldn't they get what they originally intended on getting? If they were more clear on release dates then maybe we all would have held off but that wasn't the case. That being said, I doubt it will show up within the 30 day window so it's a moot point. I will likely keep my black one because the color doesn't matter too much to me now.

Anyone else check the Apple website immediately after they wake up to see if Pre-Orders started?

Come on Apple! Just give us a date already!

I sit in front of a computer for 12 hours a night at work and I check at least once an hour. Hoping against Hope
 
Something! ANYTHING!

Today officially marks one month that I've been iPhoneless. I'm going crazy using my backup Moto Razr! Does anybody know if they are in any stores yet but just not allowed to sell them? I pre-ordered a white 32gb through Best Buy... FML

I'm with you there.

It's July 14th, which means there are 17 days left in July. Which is about 2.5 weeks.

Apple announced pre-orders for the black iPhone 9-10 days ahead of time (someone check that). They announced the release about 18 days ahead of time (check that one too).

Apple SHOULD know by now when they're going to launch the White iPhone. Just TELL US!
 
yeah, i had my iphone stolen back in mid-april, the wait for the white iphone 4 is killing me...been iphone-less since then.

That was probably back on the first (disastrous) day of pre-order madness. Best Buy (and Radio Shack) were letting people pre-order white ones for a while that day. I thought that the Best Buy management made people switch their pre-orders to black once they figured out they really weren't getting any white on launch day, but I guess some people decided to hold on to their white pre-orders in the hopes of being the first to get them when they finally come out.

I really do hope they say something this week. Tomorrow is a good candidate, but if Apple is more worried about this whole Consumer Reports thing, that could cause a second delay of white iPhones.
 
I went into the AT&T store yesterday to get my sister a new phone and I asked the lady There and she said that the white ones will come out in the end of august. I waz like "yea right" lol

I checked the I4 there and I absolutely love it, t he screen is amazing, just can't wait for the white one, I've been stuck with a nokia n95 for over a month now:(

When all of the rumors were flying about a white iphone being available at launch I called 2 local radioshacks and got on a waiting list for a white one.

They called a few days ago and said that they had a black one for me. I told them that I would wait for white and asked if they would keep me on the list. They said I was the only one waiting for a white one...

hopefully it works out that I don't have much an issue getting one when they finally do come out, I don't want to stay up all night on my computer trying to preorder

You mean to tell me you didn't have some old phone sitting in a desk drawer somewhere you could have thrown your SIM card into while waiting for the release of the White iPhone.

I swear some folks have absolutely no patience.
