So let me get this straight, when you follow the link in the second email and enter your details to see your order, it tells you ships 9/19 and then switches to 7-10 business days after checkout?
No. When I made my reservation it was 9/19. When I followed the link in the 2nd email, it was ships in 7-10 business days and order confirmation says delivers by Oct 1-6.
201 Reservation number. Received 2nd email about 9:30 am eastern and closed the deal. My 6+ 128GB Slate Grey is scheduled for 7-10 business day shipping with a October 1-6 delivery. I will be replacing my HTC One.
Do you think if I called Apple they could/would change the phone number im upgrading with on the reserved phone? My issue is its reserved under the wrong line.
My total call length was 42min. That included determining whether i should cancel, actually canceling, resetting eligibility, confirming reservation, and making sure the new order processed.
Thats what I'm currently doing. On hold....
Unfortunately with all the issues people been having it might be a long wait but don't give up!
How to you even get thru? Each time I call it says that I have to try again later. The reservation I got isn't for the phone number I want to upgrade. If I upgrade on that line, I lose my data plan.
Thats what it told me 2 times, but I tried again a few minutes later
Been trying all morning and the same result. I have a Plus 128 ready to be delivered on the 19th with my name on it if they let me correct the upgrade line.
Yeeeaaahhh... finally i got it. I was frustrated holding my call to apple for almost 1 1/2 hrs. Finally gave up and took a chance by going ahead and cancelling my first order which got it confirmed for Oct 1-7.
After 5 mins gap, I went ahead to confirm my email reservation, this time it was able to pass the "Upgrade eligibility" check and finally was able to checkout my original order of ip6+ gold 64gb with AT&T with the delivery date of 9/19.
Finally the madness ends here after my struggle from 3AM last night.

I'm in the same boat with you, I have a reservation but it is for the wrong phone. I'm going to try and recreate what you did to make it happen.
Anyone get this message? "Were sorry. We cant find your reservation. Please verify your information and try again."

That happened to me repeatedly. While I was waiting for the second email, sometimes it would find the reservation sometimes it wouldn't. In the end I received the second email and was able to place an order to arrive on the 19th. Hang in there.
My 9/19 reservation went through about an hour and a half ago, but it was pushed into the October 1-6 group.
I'll probably hit the store this coming Friday and try my luck, and keep this order as my back-up.

Thanks for your comment about this it gave me the courage to attempt this. I was hesitant to cancel my apple store order as well but it's worked out great! After about 5min it reset my upgrade status to available and I was able to process the reservation confirmation email. Now I get delivery on 9/19 instead of 7-10 days! Yes!
Same thing. I have 128GB 6+ GOLD pickup on 9/19. Will try at store on Friday. If not, hoping to get mine delivered before 10/3. So I can return the gold phone.
Did you get an email for 9/19 delivery and it changed to October? Or did it originally have October?
