Reservation email I got this morning did not mention any date. I ordered my around 3 AM CDT. Got reservation email around 4.25 AM. Completed my order at 11.15 AM after I got second email but delivery is Oct 1-6 (7-10 group).
Did yours say 9/19 in reservation email?

They suggested doing the instore pickup and have them cancel the order there and purchase it how you want. At least you know you will have the phone. Not sure I want to fight those crowds.
 
No it said 9/19 when I followed the link in the email and in my confirmation email from Apple

That's smart but I already selected to have it shipped to my house. What if I go to the Apple Store and return it once I get. Then could I buy it back with the phone number I want that includes the next plan?
 
I got the 6 ordered but I havent got the 2nd email for 6+ order I put in at 420am and I did both with in a few minutes of each other. Reservation starts with B201.
 
Successfully ordered 2 last night. Then with all the refreshing and app crashing I somehow managed to put 4 reservations in my account. Woke up this morning to see they all deliver on launch day so I ended up ordering them all for a total of 6. Awesome

Same happen to me with the wrong line being upgraded after i carefully chose last night. I was already charged so idk whats going on. Im on hold now

I guess some people just get lucky? Hopefully....

WOW, this totally worked for me. Thanks for the heads up! Cancelled my ATT order and have a 64GB iPhone 6 Plus with a delivery date of 9/19!
 
Yea, something must have happened and they released more stock for 9/19 delivery--I hope it sticks. I had 2 reservations, both B401.

The one I had for a 6+ 128GB Gray for my number was getting the error "We can't find your reservation." So I couldn't proceed at all. See my previous post about what customer service told me.

The other reservation was for a 6 128GB Gray on my wife's number. I went in to complete that one, and I changed the phone to a 6+ 128GB gray. Finished the order and got a 9/19 delivery date on a Verizon 6+ 128GB gray. That was at about 4:15 PM EDT.
 
Quite the iPhone 6 plus preorder experience.

So at 3 am this morning i signed into the verizon site to preorder and it gave me that error message that a lot of us saw so i waited a few more minutes and tried again. same thing this stupid error message. now its 4 am and i am not getting through to place my order, i panic and go to the apple store app on my phone and try to place an order through there but it won’t load. finally a page loads telling me an iPhone 6 has been reserved for me but they can’t reach the carrier to confirm my account details so im like what the heck is that?

i didn’t even get an email from apple so now its 5 o’clock and i am able to finally place a preorder through verizon but the 6 plus in space grey wasn’t shipping till october so I’m pissed! i end up choosing the silver 6 plus because it ships on the 19th. so at 530 i get an email from apple saying that i have a day to complete the order i was trying to place on the site for the 16gb space grey like i wanted!! so i try and complete it but i can’t cause i have a verizon preorder in place!

So i wake up and call apple and see if they can cancel my verizon preorder and let me complete my reservation on there but they can’t so i have to call verizon. i call verizon and the lady is like if i cancel this i will feel really bad if you don’t get it on the 19th because they are sold out till november. I’m like i know its crazy but i have to do this. so she cancels it, and i go back to the apple site to try and finish my reservation for the original phone i wanted and boom i was able to buy it in the size and color i wanted and it ships on the 19th. i got the order number and email and it even charged my card! I feel very fortunate right now.

I wonder if I process the reservation and then cancel it would it let me reorder and keep my at the 19th delivery date?

i wouldnt cancel the reservation you made with apple if that's what youre saying. Did you preorder with a carrier and make a reservation like i did?

I called 3x today, they seem quite clueless about what the reservation is, or how to work with it. They couldn't help me use it to add a line at all, even after transferring to 3 different people. Which makes no sense.

I basically changed the phone to the 6 Plus, saw the delivery state 3-4 weeks, close the browser, and the reclick on the reservation email. When it took me back to the site, it had the 6 Plus there with the 9/19 delivery date. My reservation number was B601.
 
update for anyone on Sprint, who is on a Framily plan:

I finally changed my plan online, it took a while, after errors and maintenance messages on the site and on the Sprint app.

then I went on to the 2nd email reservation Apple email, completed the order, 9/19 delivery - oh man I'm happy!!! :D :D :D :-O

thank you to the user here who gave me the tip, who was in the same boat as me - I appreciate it a lot!!

btw, I talked to a Sprint representative on the phone, they didn't change my plan, they said they couldn't do it.

I talk smack about Sprint sometimes but man did Apple come through!!

whoever wants to do the same, do it quickly, before the 24 hours is up!!!

No I have one that is reserved with a line that has unlimited data and I don't want to upgrade. That is set for the 19th delivery. The second order I have is set for October 1st delivery. For me to go to the apple store is kind of difficult with a new born in the house. I know that place will be a mad house. I can't imagine being in and out in a few minutes. However I have three different reservation numbers. Was all your numbers matching up from the emails you got? I have three different B5 numbers.
 
Just barely got my email to complete my reservation order and I had a number of B2. Just finished the order and have my iPhone 6+ 16 GB Space Gray coming for 9/19. So excited and relieved! :):D
