I got my 2nd email about my reservation around 12:30. I was able to cancel my Verizon pre-order to get my upgrade correctly back on my account (was instantaneous) and then finish the reservation.

I got the email this morning to continue the checkout process and I was one of the first that got it working on the apple app store! I checked out and my iPhone 6+ 64GB will be delivered on the 19th!
Apple actually kept the spot in line! Thank God!

When I originally reserved the phone last night it showed as "Delivers on 9/19". It wasn't until I was able to purchase it today that the date changed.
Finally got my email for a 16gb 6 Plus, now the fun part of canceling my preorder that was 14-21 days out. All I'm getting is a "Whoops, something went wrong" when I try to cancel, so I'm on hold with Apple.
Ah got it. I got worried for a second thinking that Apple was changing dates and had a mini panic attack.
I had checked out my iphone 6+ 64gm silver at launch but I couldn't with my wife's. I got a reservation number. I was hoping the date 9/19 was still on. Just got the email, placed the order, delivers on 9/19 for my wife's iphone. Woo Hoo. Both of ours on the 19th!
I haven't received the second email yet. However, I was able to get an order through last night and revived a confirmation email shortly after. Once I get the second email and click the link, is there any risk it could cancel my already-placed order? Just wanted to check. My confirmed order ships in 7-10 days and I'm fairly certain it was the same with the reservation. I just want to check if somehow I could get 9/19.
Same thing is happening to me. I called Apple customer service (waited about 10 minutes). The rep on the phone said that this is happening to a lot of people. She apologized, and said not to be alarmed. She recommended I continue to try every couple hours or so, and it will eventually go through.
I'm not sure I buy that, but we'll see...

I click to confirm, enter my VZW information, says it detected an iPhone, hit continue and it redirects me to store.apple.com.
Verizon did take away my upgrade though, so I think I'm okay, but I'm still worried. Anyone have this happen?

Could be accurate. I called Apple this morning to see what was up with the reservations and the Rep didn't know a thing. Spoke to a supervisor who essentially told me to wait for the email as it "Should" show up. Needless to say I wasn't expecting an email at that point but I did end up completing the order about 2 hours ago.
So I'm trying to change the phone number associated with my reservation but I don't see this option anywhere. Basically I ordered a phone last night and am in the 7-10 group but my reservation email came this morning and it's for 9/19.
Same situation here. I've been on hold for the last 90 minutes, so I hope they can help me.
Got the same message. This was after they sent me an email to complete the purchase. This makes no sense.

The representative I was talking to had no idea what she was doing and canceled the order I had for Oct 1-6 then tells me oh by the way we can't change the phone number associated with your reservation.
So I had to complete my reservation with the phone number not eligible for AT&T Next or any upgrades and just pay full price. Shipping shows 9/19 now.
Bad news. Finally got thru and they can't change the phone number. They stated all they can do is process the order like normal and you would have to call the carrier and see if they can change the upgrade.
Right I just had to pay full price. I wanted to use my other number that has the next plan available. Not sure what to do now I can't obviously be on the next plan since I already paid full price for the phone.
