No your other order is fine. If you complete the reservation on the same line then you will have an issue. If you ignore it, then it will go away.

That's what I thought, thank you! I kept getting an error when trying to sign in for my reservation, so I'm glad I can just forget about that now. I'll take having the phone a couple weeks later rather than a headache right now.
 
please someone help me. I have a reservation, but I cannot continue because I have a business account. Is there anything I can do to purchase the phone even though I have a Verizon Business account on Apples site? Can I like start a completely different personal account to buy it, but then just cancel the plan at the store and buy it for a different number?

I have so many reserved iphones I can give some away if someone can help

anyone have any luck calling in and switching the reservation to a different phone line or even a different model?
 
So at 3 am this morning i signed into the verizon site to preorder and it gave me that error message that a lot of us saw so i waited a few more minutes and tried again. same thing this stupid error message. now its 4 am and i am not getting through to place my order, i panic and go to the apple store app on my phone and try to place an order through there but it won’t load. finally a page loads telling me an iPhone 6 has been reserved for me but they can’t reach the carrier to confirm my account details so im like what the heck is that?

i didn’t even get an email from apple so now its 5 o’clock and i am able to finally place a preorder through verizon but the 6 plus in space grey wasn’t shipping till october so I’m pissed! i end up choosing the silver 6 plus because it ships on the 19th. so at 530 i get an email from apple saying that i have a day to complete the order i was trying to place on the site for the 16gb space grey like i wanted!! so i try and complete it but i can’t cause i have a verizon preorder in place!

So i wake up and call apple and see if they can cancel my verizon preorder and let me complete my reservation on there but they can’t so i have to call verizon. i call verizon and the lady is like if i cancel this i will feel really bad if you don’t get it on the 19th because they are sold out till november. I’m like i know its crazy but i have to do this. so she cancels it, and i go back to the apple site to try and finish my reservation for the original phone i wanted and boom i was able to buy it in the size and color i wanted and it ships on the 19th. i got the order number and email and it even charged my card! I feel very fortunate right now.

I got the Apple emails, I go there to look at my resv and it tells me it can't find it. I called Apple, they took my info down and said 'a lot of people having this issue, someone will be in touch'. When I try again on the app, I get the 'order already in place'.

My question - if I cancel the Verizon order, is it likely that I can complete the Apple resv? If I can't get the 19th date, may be ok, but was more wanting the 6+..

Would love anyone's thoughts as we're all in this together!! Thanks in advance!

Not two minutes after the verizon rep canceled my preorder did i get a cancellation email and i was able to complete my order using the reservation through apple

No luck switching the phone line. I tried calling in.

Switching my phone model did work though. Just switch model it will say 3-4 weeks or whatever, but dont worry. Then close the browser and go to your reservation again. Should give you the shipping date you had with the first device.

THanks, I've been on hold for 2 hrs so I might as well give it a try. :) I have a second reservation for 7-10 day shipping window I can always use.
 
I've been trying this link they sent me to confirm my reservation all day and not working. And according to the email, it will expire tomorrow morning. :mad:

Good luck! if you talk to an apple rep be cool and they might ship you a 6+ leather case like this dude Mike did for me. Apple really stepped it up for me today, i hope they can do the same for you
 
My plan is to try walking in the AT&T store on launch day, canceling my order with apple, and coming out with a 6+ 64GB. It's a stretch but if it doesn't work, I guess I'll at least have a phone oct. 1-6.

My wife was able to do that on iPhone 5 launch day. Only difference was, she walked in at NOON, and left with a phone. Crazy, I didn't think it'd be possible but it happened.
 
Sprint iPhone 6 Plus 64GB Space Gray. 9/19 delivery was estimate on order page in Apple Store App (iPhone) then went to do upgrade and got the reservation due to Apple not being able to talk to Sprint.

Got my reservation confirmation at 5:20 A.M., confirmation number B201. The second email finally showed up at 10:57 A.M. Everything was great except that my 9/19 delivery was now Shipping in 7-10 days with delivery between Oct. 1st and 6th.
 
Well, VZW ordered cancelled, but still getting 'Can't find your reservation' with Apple, so on hold, again.....ugh.......

I keep trying to complete my order. I click the email link, sign in, select same plan, no hot spot, it starts processing then times out after 2 minutes saying it can't contact my carrier. (Sprint)

Then I start over. Same thing happens.

So - got through to Apple....this time, I was told they had to do 'server maintenance' earlier in the day, and 'it' was down...now that it's back up, everyone is hitting it at once, causing the 'reservation not found' message. She told me 'keep trying for the next hour or so, and if that doesn't work, call back'...ugh! She did say, and I love when they do this, when asked 'Do I actually have a phone waiting for me, to be delivered on 9/19?', I was told 'I'm 98% positive you do'....really wondering what math formula she was using to get to that 98%, but hey, it's Apple, I'm sure it was something magical and amazing!

Only the one order I placed at 4 AM and am supposedly trying to "complete" now. Apple sent me an email at 10 AM saying my phone was reserved and I have to complete the order by 11 AM tomorrow. Trying to do so just results in the quoted page. No confirmation emails or anything else from Apple saying the order has been completed.
 
I'm thinking even if somehow we got in and complete the order. The ship date is probably won't be the 19th. People who completed checkout before will get theirs in the 1st shipment. This is the worst preorder experience ever.

I did mine mid-afternoon today, and have a 19th ship date, so I wouldn't rule it out!

does anyone know how to navigate to the iphone reservation page from apple.com? I ask because I can get 5% cash back through discover if I click through to apple on discover's website, but I can't find where to continue my reserved order.

Yeah, I have NO idea what calling back will do - if they could see it, and couldn't address it the 1st two times I called, not sure what 'magic' they can pull the 3rd time....it actually reminds of me of the FIRST iPhone rollout, and the hours I spent release day trying to get it activated...I think each rollout has had some sort of glitch...although not this bad I don't think....
