What case are you preping for the 3GS ?

wow I like that one...water marks though? Must be because of what he had on the back - bse or something?

It's gonna be this or the incase frame for me

yes this one looks nicer with the simple black/clear however its like the contour flick, the bottom chrome benzel is completely revealed, so ill have to pass since i want my 3G S perfect in the benzel as well

Wow, that's exactly what I did! I purchased a pink and red rebel(rebelcherry), then purchased a black spine on the side. I just received it today. I thought that I wouldn't like the red and pink, but it actually looks really nice once you have it in your hand. The black spine seems too dark for the pink, now that I actually have that as well.

Everyone that saw my case so far, loves it. I would highly recommend it!

Definitly going with the white switch easy rebel serpent. It is by far the best case I have ever had wrapped around my iPhone. It gives the phone a new look without being bulky or stupid. I love these cases!
 
I just ordered one of the Switcheasy Rebel Serpent and VisionClip2 - seems like both of them got great reviews from various websites, including this one. I look forward to getting them - the Rebel Serpent looks pretty awesome! :cool:
 
Kraft Cheese Slice Wrapper

I'm using a Kraft cheese slice wrapper...wrapping it around the iphone and just kind of melting it with a candle flame to "shrinkwrap" my new iPhone 3GS.

the slider has an issue with scratching phones...my new 3G was butchered by a slider and I'm afraid to go back with my new 3Gs.

I really like this...however I would like the whole of the silver bezel covered.

Can you tell me what it is like to take this in and out of your pocket? I can just see the rubber around the sides peeling back and marking up the phone.

Does anybodu know if there a simular case like this maybe thinner and provides protection for the bezel?

I hate cases. But I dislike scratches on my stuff. I want to keep my 3G_S in a case right out of the box.

I've been through all different kinds of cases, I wanted one that was clear (so you can see the black back), and with as little bulk as possible. After some research, I decided on the Griffin Reveal case.

I got it from Apple with 2nd day shipping, they're saying I should get it on the 19th, same day as my 3G_S. ;)

So I gather you are not bothered by scratching up the bezel? From all I have seen the Reveal does not protect the bezel and that from my experience is even more scratch prone than the back of the phone (barring of course the Apple logo)
 
Got the Incase slider black matte for my 3G s but I guess I should have done a little research before buying it. Does it really scratch the iPhone? If it did that would really bother me and I'll need to start looking for another case.

Not too worried about that. Even with a contour showcase on my 1st iPhone (1G), the chrome bezel still managed to get blemished. I don't think there's a way to avoid it short of covering it with something that adds a lot more bulk.

Plus, I like being able to slide my finger across the display without edges on the side, which is what sold me on the reveal.
 
I am thinking about the Reveal too.

Should you combine that with a screen protector like "Best Skin Ever" or "Zagg InvisibleShield" (which seems expensive compared to the the Best Skin Ever)?

I've gone for the Incipio Feather but in black, I might well pick up a red one as well if I like it. Anyone used a Feather before, are they any good?
 
InCase Frame Case for now, until next pay day, then I'm getting the iSkin Solo FX or the Contour iSee.

Also, I'm getting the Zagg Invisible shield installed by Best Buy on Friday when I pick up my phone.

I went White this time. Black just didnt suit me with the 3g I had. White looks nice with blue cases. :) Yes, I am a University of Kentucky fan.

They are FANTASTIC! However they provide little bezel protection. I would get a blue or yellow one for my 3Gs

See I am worries about the bezel being marked. Can I get a screen protector that will cover the screen and bezel then use the Griffin Reveal?
 
I am getting the SwitchEasy CapsuleNeo in black. The Rebel Serpent just looks too girly for my taste. I am also getting the SGP Anti-Glare film protector.
