Early 80's B Sc-Fi film. It's well done for the budget, just tune out and watch. Fun without being apologetic for what it is and that I like :)

Currently in the middle of that one. I feel like both the Andy Garcia and Steve Martin versions are criminally underrated from a critical standpoint. Also started watching Spiderhead starring the talented Chris Hemsworth on Netflix. The writing leave something to be desired, but I'm intrigued by the premise.

Is it worth watching? I've seen mixed reviews.

Watched Dr. Strange and Multiverse of Madness...

It had it's moments, but overall I was disappointed in the film. I won't spoil anything right now since it is still relatively new... But the final act ?‍♂️ ?‍♂️ ?‍♂️

Now streaming on Disney+. I’ll have to watch this (DrStrange MoM) again, while I thought it was good, maybe excellent, and not too hard to follow, they equated parallel universe jumping to magic (as it should be), but the question is can I watch this story multiple times? 🤔

Someone said it was dark, I did not find it overly so as a general description, although there were dark elements as part of the story, but they did not bother me. And I do like how this is a direct tie in with the Wandavision and the Scarlet Witches inability to deal with loss.

That was one of the only things I did like, however, I would have rather seen a Wanda movie since this really dealt with her continued struggle of depression and grief versus Strange. I really like Strange... but this movie missed the mark on so many levels for me.

Agreed. The movie had a great potential to perhaps introduce several plot lines that make it confusing but that self resolve. Instead one continuous plot that just follows thru 4 universes.

I mean, I enjoyed it. But still, wasted potential to see at least 20 universes duking it out in order to make honor to its name. But dang, just 4?

Yes, I am also excited to see what Thor-Jane brings in.

I enjoyed most of it... Is it "strange" that I want a show on Benedict's Wong character! I mean a short little five or six episodes on him during the five years of the event. I really like him and I really like his character!

Considering I love Sam Raimi, the Benedicts as Strange and Wong and was thrilled to a certain silent but deadly Inhuman come back, I thought this was very disappointing beyond the opening sequences and the appearance of silent but deadly inhuman.

Then again, I cannot stand Wanda/Scarlet Witch. I never liked her in the comics and the same in live action, it intensified.

That said, I would like to see more of Strange, the new arrival at the end and the silent but deadly Inhuman. And if Raimi wanted to direct something else at Marvel, sure, but I think I'd rather see Scott Derrickson back on Strange going forward.
