I'd be willin to bet Tiger's already in a box ;)

Hopefully you're right. I'm hoping they start taking preorders early next week, and then ship them late next week, for arrival early in the week of April 18. (I know I dream ahead too much). :D

Your guess is as good as anyone else. Friday the 15th works for me, since my wife ask for the day off. The only problem is that prior releases an announcement has been made about two weeks prior to release.

It will be released in time for NAB. Guaranteed or your money back.
. . . and if it's not available for immediate shipping, a release date will be announced so they can do a Night of the Tiger promotion in stores. They should be taking orders as of Sunday, April 17.

Apple Store

Still within 24hrs on the uk store :( though did anyone else notice that .mac was down for a long time yesteday afternoon (uk time - so you guys may have just been waking up) perhaps apple was doing more tiger related updates!!!! and with the uk regent street store applying for an entertainment licence for april 15th (weird uk law requires you to have a licenece if you are going to hold an event where a large number of people will turn up - night of the tiger maybe!!!) things are still looking good for release this month

not to mention the fact that stereophonics is playing live at regent street apple store next week click me :D

Now that's new news - wasn't saying that last night! Sounds like it might be fun tho I suspect you may have to turn up at 6 to get in!

I guess we can rule out the 19th being Night of the Tiger! Tho it's not outwith the realms of possibility to announce it on the 19th being a Tuesday and all...

It will say that anywhere that Apple has a booth in a convention... It is just that Tiger is a big deal for Apple now and it makes sense to show it off, pre-view or final release... It makes for more publicity when Tiger actually comes out. (I'm not tryin to say that Tiger isnt ready and whatnot, i'm just saying that it doesn't exactly mean Tiger comes out at NAB or NSBA...)

BUT remember...
Unfortunately, Tiger has been shown before ( though perhaps not as well promoted before arriving at the Booth) ---remember that Tiger was being actively demonstrated at MWSF in Jan. 2005 as well...For those who were not there, Apple had an entire wall of their Booth simply showing Tiger and allowing you full hands on to play with it.

The point is that even in January 05, Apple could offer a hands on 'Demo' of Tiger to the public at a meeting.

It might simply be the same thing here...

Apple had Tiger on display at FOSE last week also. So having Tiger at NSBA doesn't say anything definitive. We are still left at the mercy of Apple. The rumor mill hasn't been all that accurate lately.

I'm hearing reports of a stable Tiger build that people are using as their main OS for many days now. It's imminent. I can't wait personally.

Perhaps Apple was waiting to see if Tiger won the Master's Tournament in Augusta. He did in a one hole playoff. Now they release TIger, in the the week of the TIger.

I just don't buy Apple is going release Tiger on a Sunday.

When? Who knows?

It shouldn't be the end of the month or they have wasted time not doing another seed or two?

It won't be later than this month since builds have stopped and they are working of .4.1.

Who the hell knows what is going on. My prediction? This Tuesday. Why? Who the hell knows.

LOL nice. I believe it will be by the end of this week, probably coinciding with the conference call on the 13th and NAB. Pure speculation though.

Come on Tiger!!!

Tiger Tuesday, anybody? :)

Is anyone else impatient like I am when it comes to this release? I cant stand this wait!!!!!!!
