In the spirit of some around here I will give my complaints..

Too new...
Too shiny...
Too smooth in the hand..
Too light...
Too smooth in operation...

All round it is just ....oh well you get the picture.

No issues here as far as I can tell. Although I am not sure what exactly I am looking for so I will not stress it...

I finally got home and gave it a full inspection under my bright lamps looking for damage or dings. I ran a series of color pattern tests checking for lint, abnormal light bleed, dead pixels, or banding along the left side some folks have said they had. It checked out perfectly fine. Same for the gyroscope.

I can finally enjoy it in peace really happy w/ my purchase. Good luck guys!!

I do get perfect one, as well as all my other apple devices including ipad 2/3/4

All fine here, no complaints. Still prefer my Nexus 7, some of the iPad apps are such a let down ( no bbc weather app for retina iPad....)

wow bbc weather is missing!!! and nothing about nexus is missing about 300k of apple apps? ;) how many of weather apps do you need? you could just ask Siri about ...

I was curious to find that the bbc weather app was not available, but all the alternatives I found either had adverts within them or insisted on having location services activated. In the google version I was able to specify my home location (and a list of others) without using location services. I was wanting to do the same on the iPad. It is the little things that can colour ones experience of a device, and this was one of the little things I wanted. I have a lot of apple products, iPod, iMac, atv, and so on., i prefer apple when possible, but this does not mean I am blind the advantages other platforms offer.

I wouldn't even begin to guess percentage wise with how many folks who will own an Air that they are qualified to judge they have a perfectly fine one.

If it meets their needs and they have no issues with using it daily or whenever, so be it. I fall into this category. :)

Mine is perfect from a screen point of view. Some minor chamfer scratches but the screen makes it a keeper. If I decide to keep it. Having Mini R decision issues.

No issues so far on 128GB wi-fi ipad AIR, bought it from Bestbuy...
coming from original ipad, loss of weight and size was a welcome upgrade.
I also appreciate having thread on what is positive about new iPad Air. it will help people make educated decision instead of being spooked by handful of cases of ipad issues.

Looks like compared to all the Previous Models of iPad, comparatively the iPad Air quality check has been thoroughly done very very few almost Nil cases of people reporting of Light Leakage or any Hue or Tint ! :p

Really? I find the iOS apps so much more polished than my Google Play apps.

Totally agree. I gave a Nexus 7 (which is a terrific device) but apps made for iOS are magnitudes better than Google Play apps.

Mines my first and it's perfect, sublime even. If I was to criticise anything it would be that the screen does feel slightly plasticky, but the light weight more than makes up for that, and it looks amazing.

When iOS gets more multi-tasking the one gig of RAM will probably let it down somewhat, but so glad not to have waited for next years.

Cosmetically fine but getting used to the hollow sound while typing and it feels small compared to previous iPads

All seems to be fine here. Checked for screen issues reported and chips etc and found none. just finished setup. very happy
