Love it

Went from a ipad 3 to a 128gb air, it has exceeded every expectation. Can't put it down, so far my favorite gadget purchase ever and I had colecovision.

Everything seems to be fine on mine except for a slight yellow hue overall compared to the bright white screen on my iPad 4. Not sure yet but I may stick with the iPad 4. This is my second Air with this same colored screen. I don't think it is a flaw as the color is even over the whole screen with no gradient, lines, dead pixels or light bleeds. I just prefer that white screen on the 4 that I'm used to.

Mine is flawless, I came from an iPad 3 with a dodgy home button and couldn't be happier!

Mine was fine overall, but had some dirt that I needed to scrape off. Screen and everything else is 100%

Got a silver 32GB cellular version on launch day. My first iPad. Everything was perfect. I have been on it nonstop since Friday. IMHO the Air has much better built quality than iPhones.

My iPad Air is flawless, screen itself couldn't be better. My only complaint is the new glass front, feels so cheap coming from an iPad 3. Seriously feels like a piece of plastic.

I cannot properly stress how strongly I disagree with you. The iPad Air is the most premium-feeling device I have ever held in my hands.

I agree, the iPad Air is amazing. It's just a huge difference going from that huge thick piece of glass on the 3 to the very thin piece on the Air. Just doesn't feel as sturdy, but I'll take the Air over the 3 any day.

I'll be returning two iPad Airs this week. One is mine, the other with a buddy. Mine has a yellow tint that goes from murky green on left to pink hue on right. It is not too distracting, but I compared it to my friend's and his is perfectly uniform and better at producing whites.

His iPad, however, is also going back. His accelerometer is messed up. His parallax setting has to be turned off because just holding the iPad leads to wild swaying of his wallpapers. Also, his orientation won't change when the iPad is turned and this is with Orientation setting set to off!

Go :apple: QA, Go!

@OP

Wish I could say I did. But mine has light bleeding on two corners very noticeable when watching movies. Could all of you with perfect iPads post a picture of your iPad screen taken in a dark room with black color on the entire screen (just so the camera picks it up) showing there's no light bleeding? I'd appreciate it!

Haven't noticed anything whatsoever regarding lines or color weirdness, and I've looked A LOT.

My mantra is that if you can't see it when just using the iPad, then it isn't "normal use" when you have to look for an issue.

I was on the fence yesterday about actual use vs. looking for any issues with my iPad. Unfortunately, when in Mail, Safari, Settings (or any other predominantly white background apps), all I can see now is the yellow tint on the right side and I get a sinking feeling.

If you don't see anything, then just be happy and stop looking for issues!

I haven't found anything wrong with mine. The clarity, speed & ease of use have been a blast to use.

The only thing I have discovered is that I don't need cellular so will either exchange for a wifi only or consider waiting for the retina mini. I love the portability of the mini but I don't think my aging eyes can handle it for a reader. Will visit an Apple store to see the size in person before making my decision. In my ideal world, I'd have both. Problem is, my pocket book doesn't quite agree with me at this time. Sugar Daddy needs to phone home. ;)

There isn't a thing wrong with mine. It had a tiny bit of residue in a few spots on the back when I first opened it that at first glance looked like tiny nicks or imperfections in the aluminum, but those all rubbed off with a lightly dampened cloth. The screen and everything else was perfectly fine from the start and it performs great.

Yellow gradient from left edge about 3inches towards centre.

Booked genius bar appointment for replacement.
