I noticed an actual bend/wave in the glass of my iPhone 6s Plus today as it was sitting on my coffee table. I took a short video so you guys could see what I'm talking about. As I move the camera look at the way the light reflected off the screen of my phone "bends" in the area of the pressure point. It wouldn't surprise me if this is what's causing the "pressure point blemish" that so many of us are noticing.

Can you take a blank white background at 50% brightness? Ensure your camera is pointing straight down to prevent colour shift.

My lighting isn't the best but here you go -

Hey dudes and dudettes, I don't have the blemish on my 128 GB SG 6s Plus. Sorry that a few of you are experiencing an issue, but I just don't see it as pronounced as it's made out to be. Or am I just not seeing the blemish well enough in pics?

Some people are posting here to show their defect-free phone - some good pictures closer to top of thread.

Based on the video. It has to be bad batch. Like one post stated, Post the week number and factory. Kinda like the iPhone 5/5S's scuff issues. Chinese manufacturing at its best. :)

Also, on my 6s Plus (which also has the issue), there's no "rippling" of the glass as in the above video. The glass is very flat, even when tested under a light.

Alright gang, I looked at the pics at the beginning of this thread and it seems to me as if the OCD crowd is out in full force with their magnifying glass and microscope in hand. I don't mean to offend some of you, but this is something the human eye can barely detect. Furthermore, I'm pretty sure that you're mostly seeing it after the fact because you want to. Crazy if you ask me!

If you don't want OCD, don't visit macrumors. lol.

True dat! Of course, my comment is tongue in cheek because I am super OCD about a lot of things too, just not this one though. It's nearly impossible to see! But, we all have different things that are important to us and that is cool too.

I just got back from my local Apple Store and the last phone in stock had the pressure point issue too but I talked to the lead of inventory and the main technician about it and they both noticed after I pointed it out. I also showed them the floor models which shows the issue. I'm just waiting on more stock.

My display definitely has it and on some it's more noticeable than others. Whether it's a pressure point or something to do with an illumination shadow is another matter. If you can't see it and need others to help you see it then you don't have a problem.
