Just spoke to a Wrapsol rep who knew what he was talking about. He said there is a HUGE fresh batch shipping out tomorrow with re-cut films, so for those of you who requested a replacement, it should be processed very soon.

I myself received a Wrapsol Ultra that came without the side films. He told me to go on the website and do support -> warranty. It does require you to take a picture, but he said just upload a picture of the box and stuff you received. Gonna do this when I get home from work later today.

They are doing all they can to satisfy their customers, and I am impressed with the effort they are putting forth. The rep even told me to go ahead and put on the films for some temporary protection, which means we are allowed to keep our original shipment. Don't need to return for replacement.

Hope this clears up some confusion.

Great...well Im glad I ordered mine yesterday and missed this new batch. I hope I don't have to go through the warranty process to get a new batch

I will not take the risk. I always put my phone in my packet. Normally, it will get scratches very soon since I have keys and other stuff in my packet too. I will go to bestbuy and buy some film from them after I hear back from wrapsol regarding to the refund. after 12 days waiting, wrapsol urtra really let me down. My wife was laughing at me since I told her that I spend 50 dollars on some 'best' plastic protection for our new iphones. :(

hahahahahaha... same here lol... we are in same bot..

I was told the new batch started going out yesterday by wrapsol.

Could be true. My guy just said a huge shipment was going out tomorrow, but doesn't necessarily mean the new cuts started haven't started shipping out, aka coulda started yesterday.

Mine is coming Thursday. We will see if it's the old batch or new batch. I ordered last week but wasn't shipped till I emailed yellow frog to ask when it would be shipped out. Then I got a shipping confirm that day. Can't imagine the scene over there with all these orders, returns and refunds.

Anyone request a replacement yesterday or before that and have their today? trying to see if they got the new cuts

Nope I did this, it does not remove the imprint. You should call up wrapsol don't email cause I never got a reply. They will overnight you a replacement and you get to keep your old one.

Thanks my friend. I did email them, but will call right now. :)

Will the streaks left by the squeegee disappear in 24-48 hours? I just installed mine and there is a big streak on the outside that I can't get to buff out. When I installed it the squeegee left a streak as wide as the squeegee and as long as the front of the iphone top to bottom.

Thanks

Thanks for posting this. They really have awesome customer service. I think they were rushed for time to send out the first batch... and as stated before, they had new hires who didn't know what they were doing. *shrug*

Still haven't received mine yet anyway.

Just received my ultra and as expected it looks like garbage. I will be calling Wrapsol tomorrow. Hopefully they will overnight a replacement because I don't want to be out of a case for very long...

Even if you are new higher you got to be the biggest moron and this was the only place you could get a job getting paid $2.00 an hour. Plus the manager looking at these people putting these things together should be taken outside and never let to get a job again.

Other then that I called talked to a guy he was really nice and helpful.

I just got the Original kit today, looks to be great quality based on feeling/looks. Clean looking set-up and I don't have any of clarity issues some others are having. The material is cut cleanly and everything seems to be in good order. All I need is a phone to go with the protection, July 2nd. I'll be sure to post pics.

Just wanted to post some positive words about Wrapsol, I would hate for some problems with simple fixes to tarnish their name.

just received an email from wrapsol's customer service stating that I will get an express tracking number tomorrow for a freshly packed iPhone kit. Hopefully these will be better quality controlled. I'd like to give wrapsol the benefit of the doubt here in saying that they are really trying to make amends for their previous batch and are doing what they can to please their customers.

Recieved my Wrapsol Ultra today and they looked terrible. Emailed them for a replacement. I also went ahead and installed and the process was easier than I thought. I went ahead and did the Install (dry) using the process I normally use for installing a screen protector. I partially peel the film and and align, then used a credit card (not the squeegee that came with it too rubbery and doesn't glide) to flatten as I peel the rest of the film on the phone. Came out looking pretty good with no bubbles on the front. The back had some bubbles probably because I originally used the squeegee that it came with and instead of gliding it grabbed. Also the back looks like it has some orange peel but will see after 24 hours. The front is hardly noticible (aside from the lettering) and has no orange peel.

New shipment will ship out from tomorrow that's what the lady told me..please post pic from onwards..

Lady told me the same thing. Fed Ex screwed up today's delivery, saying they left it at my door, when they didn't. I complained to Fed Ex. I live in an apartment building with an active public entrance. No one buzzed me and there wasn't a package at my door or the downstairs door. Sooooo ... I am getting a delivery from the new batch now.

all the ultras up until today were cut previous to them having an actual unit and die to work from

Does anyone else NOT have a HUGEEEE problem with this?

I can't believe so many people are willing to waste their money on a company that essentially sent out hundreds of thousands, if not MILLIONS of what is basically a prototype product.

The question I would have is why are the originals fine while the ultras are all screwed up? If they have some type of guide that they've been using to cut the originals, shouldn't the same guide be used for the ultras? It doesn't make sense to me that they didn't have an actual unit to work from. If that was the case, how are the originals coming out perfect?

My original Wrapsol (both front and back pieces) was too big for my iPhone 4 when I installed it. In addition, it had two significant scratches in it and a small cut out of the top edge. Honestly it was pretty orange-peeley too -- not all that different from Zagg IMHO. I've emailed them for a replacement so hopefully the second batch is better.

I can't tell you one way or the other, but this was quoted by one of the other members via a phone conversation by one of their reps. Seeings as 90% of folks have no idea what a die is, I figured that he was just repeating what he heard on the phone.

I haven't seen yellow frog post near as much today after the problem really started to bloom. They were claiming that it was packing error, which it was not. I can only speak for the unit that I received, but it was definitely a manufacturing error. The film looked like it had chemical spilled all over it. My guess is that in reality that is the adhesive that wasn't applied correctly.

I was just asking the rep to be honest about what really happened with these, he called my bluff and I posted pictures to back up my story. I didn't hear from him again after that. It's always easy for a company to blame someone else, even if that means you blame a few of your employees and to call them out as being incompetent. In this case, with how the package arrived at my doorstep, I would be more apt to blaming whoever engineered this awful package instead of the people making 7.25 in the stock room.

That's a bummer about the original. I'm going to try out Bodyguardz - they seem to get pretty positive reviews and I'm getting 2 sets of full body protection for $17.39. Can't beat that price.

Just emailed you Your order number is 7NS91034N61700310

I am really pissed .... 30 bucks and get such a low quality product.,,

Please expedite replacement from good batch and lmk where to send this back to.

Can someone summarize what happened with the wrapsol product? I'm getting mine by the mail tomorrow and I wanted to know what is wrong with it?

Does it apply to the majority of the first batch that came out?
