Quick question yellowfrog. I got my ultras on the 2nd and they were just like all of the previous posts, Stuck together and looked like crap. I am wanting a refund and read on wrapsol.com that You need to get an RMA number first, by sending them your original confirmation number. I never got a confirmation number. In fact, after i purchased them from wrapsol.com, and wrapsol charged my account that same day, I didnt hear anything from wrapsol for a almost a week. It wasnt until i sent wrapsol an email telling them to cancel my order, that i got an email stating my screens were shipped along with the tracking number. I dont want to deal with wrapsol anymore and never will. How can I get my money back..??

My package came yesterday, and it was terrible. It's also the same as what the others posted, it seems the front film and back film got stuck to each other inside the packaging, hence producing scratches and unavoidable dust were in it before I can even put it on my iPhone.

Still, since they said after 24hrs the film will go 100% clear, I tried to apply the film and to my dismay, the outcome is horrendous. First batch of shipment was a real disaster, I had to remove the film right away since it doesn't look right on my iPhone. I guess a refund will be my option now. (are the second batch of films really worth it?)

You trust my opinion right, Rayfire?

It's worth it. I love Wrapsol. I know people are having bad experiences, but just get a replacement one. Even if you don't like the replacement, you can still get a refund. ;)

Look at the pics above on this page.

Have you used the SGP Steinhal EX films?

That's where I'm going if this isn't rectified.

i was looking at it on their website HERE and it says it comes with 2 extra films..
For those who have tried these films before.. why do they send extra? are they meant to be replaced every few months or are they just being extra nice or what? Maybe one set for a friend? It doesn't quite make sense to me

Here's the Steinheil EX Ultra Crystal (full body) installed on my phone, threw the front on in just a few minutes so its not completely even but whatever. They probably give extra films to compensate for their ****** customer service. Oh, and if you get this one it doesn't have a cut-out for the front, just the back flash. I think they do both cut-out's for some of the other ones though. But again, their CS is **** so you may just want to wait for Power Support all together (although I've never used PS, could be as much hype as this thread was).

The clarity is pretty solid. I'm not sure if it's the best (because again, I hear PS is even clearer) but I haven't had anything better in regards to clarity. Here's a video of someone applying the same film and he puts it side to side with an unprotected iPhone and you can barely tell the difference. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWFCXxAFr8I

Here's some pics of the Wrapsol Ultra fully installed. This is from the new batch.

Not fully cured and dried yet. I did a wet install. The clarity is really good.
Very nice! That's what I was expecting when I ordered. I'm requesting a replacement and I hope it can be nice and clear with no markings.

Wow, those side pieces are much nicer than wrapsol. With the exception of that weird bit around the headphone jack. And I like that you get extra films.

Here's the installation vid for those curious about the packaging/process.

And yeah, Power Support is GREAT. I've always used them, all my friends have used them. In this case I wanted protection right away, so I went with Wrapsol.

Hahah, yeah I accidentally stretched it too far up top, it's supposed to stop right where the noise mic is and curve around it.

After 48 hours, the front side of my wrapsol ultra still have 5 bubbles. Should I take it off and reinstall it? I am not sure if I am supposed to do it. (that was my second set.)

wet application is so much better in case you didn't do that.. apparently just a tad of DISH soap not hand soap it also helps.. i did it with just water but it was a bit hard..

again i don't know if that's how you did it but yes you can take the film off wash it with water and soap and it will still stick very well.. i've done it with zagg a few times

Thank you for the info. I did pull the film off and redo it several times when I got my first set. However, it only made it worse. That's why I am afraid to reprocess it. I guess I should have bought the original one at first time instead of ultra. I probably will just live with the bubbles. At least, it is not scratches.....:(

Take it off and let it sit for a few minutes. It will move back to it's original design. Then get it wet slightly and position, then squeegee out the bubbles with a credit card. That should do it. ;)

Are the Wrapsol Ultra side films supposed to be uncut? The first one I received had cuts already. The replacements I received from the newer batch doesn't.

Well I got my Ultra today after much delay and reading about what to expect. It was shipped on Monday so maybe before the date they said they were sending out the better ones.

The first thing I noticed that both films were stuck together. They were stuck together really good too!! When I tried to take the back piece off to apply, I really had to PULL HARD! Both pieces sort of curled after I separated them.

I placed it on the back after spraying it a bit like some had advised (this was the first time I've ever done a wet install). It went on pretty easily I thought. I smoothed it with a credit card.

Then I noticed that because the front piece was stuck with the back piece (the part that goes on the phone, not the plastic film covering the adhesive), it left an impression.

I tried to rub it but it's not coming off.

It's pretty disappointed that they would send out quality like this.

I'm debating still whether to try it again or just get a refund.

Did you get the Ultra? I thought the Ultra was a dry install?

I was just wondering if maybe people who are doing a wet install on the Ultra, which is supposed to be a dry install, are the ones having problems?

Also, I read somewhere in this thread that the side pieces are changed for replacements. Are the side pieces that go where the volume is different from what they have up on the website?

I've read so many posts about Wrapsol that I'm probably getting them mixed up, but I'm pretty sure people were having better luck with a wet install even though Ultras are meant to be a dry install.

Does anyone know when the Wrapsol Promotion Code will end? I'm waiting until everything is stable and there is no production faults in the products.

His is ultra. My first two ultra were exactly like his. It's terrible. I got only one replacement so far, another one should be on the way. The second set looks a little better, the scratches are all gone. However, its size is still not perfectly match the phone.
