Ravenvii [and now scepticalscribe] stays hot on my short-list. I completely disagree with everything ss posted regardging the ravenvii voting-process but I'd like to see who gets killed at night before going back to that.

I vote for skepticalscribe. Their lengthy post on how they can't possibly understand when the deadline falls despite posting from a computer that evidently has internet access and therefore all the answers that the internet can bring.

Their complaint strikes me as a needless subterfuge and therefore I choose them.

Oh dear, oh dear, I must apologise for writing a lengthy post or two, while others silently sail on, unremarked upon; and no, still don't know what time it is (will invest one day - a dream of mine - in one of those geochron clocks which will tell me this at a glance) in the western US. Computer access (mine is on GMT) does not mean time zones west of Europe remain anything other than tempus incognito.

It'd have made more sense to vote for Sythas instead of Pluto in ravenvii's case - especially if he's a precious special. If you play that way - even twice now with his suicide vote - I don't regret voting for him. It's selfish imho and being gutted because three people voted for one without offering a minimum of defence is no excuse for me.

I disagree about your bloodlust argument.

Seriously, I am getting tired - and fed up - with the focus on ravenvii and myself. Off us then if you feel that strongly about it, but stop this stupid drawn out, tedious, form of Chinese torture. Actually, the way I feel now with the mental laziness, listlessness, lack of thought is that I would almost prefer to be sweltering rather than merely hot on your list.

Go with your gut. It is much more efficient, far less time consuming, and invariably a lot more accurate than actually reading what anyone who has posted has bothered to say, and asking a mild, inoffensive question to those who have not bothered to post anything other than a grunted bolded name.

Thanks for the response re time, much appreciated, actually; I had assumed it was roughly 12 hours behind where I am currently, but that refines it further.

In addition, I agree with what you have said in your post. My vote is not tied to any individual, and I am open to (reasoned, rational) arguments to place it elsewhere. However, for this round, I will not add to the ravenvii vote as I consider it misguided to do so.

No. I disagree. If you feel that it is a bandwagon, change your vote. The case against him is not strong, and the possible case for him is worth heeding.

For my part, I think the votes for ravenvii are catastrophically, wrong-headedly stupid; I fully understand his response - I've done that myself when the burden of proof, or persuasion, falls on the accused, and, having made your case, you are invited to repeat it ad nauseam.

Yes, and if ravenvii changed his vote for himself (which I recommend that he do), three others, despite what he inferred, persist in voting for him, rather than asking questions of the mute majority, some of whom are content to post little, extract as much a=information as possible, and then strike, to lethal effect.

The case against ravenvii is very weak. The case for others is slightly weaker. Nobody has a "welp, this guy is definitely a traitor case".

I think for the part of being clear, it's really hard... If you are a someone whit a talent, you want to keep it secret as long as possible... This is even more important when we play with a big group, because even if you are able to get some informations, it's mostly not relevant yet. You want to influence the vast majority of good person, without getting killed during the night. I think we will lynch in the dark for at least until de fifth day. So we want to put more person in the hot seat and see the reactions.

Traitor, in this case, even when they are about to be lynch, they will just sit back and laugh...

We don't need 11 to lynch. We need a majority to lynch before the deadline. Otherwise whomever has the most votes at the deadline, even if just 1 vote, will be lynched. In the even of a tie, whoever got to that number first will be lynched.

Also, I really don't see a bandwagon here. SilentPanda and I explained quite lenghty why we voted for him (Fenris too at the beginning, but somehow changed his mind - I wonder why). Costabunny being the only one who 'just' followed. Ravenvii is guilty of 1/4 of this 'bandeagon' himself, too.

My reasoning for ravenvii being a traitor only worked if WoodNUFC was lying. I have my reasons for believing WoodNUFC for now.

From my perspective, two things are of some slight concern; as I'm not in the US, nor from the US, and not at all familiar with the time zones, I have no idea of what time the stated deadline actually is, whether it is now, tomorrow, tonight, or whenever. Normally, I am in Europe and can extrapolate (roughly, give or take an hour or two) what time it might be on the east coast of the US (how many time zones are there on the east coast?) At the moment, I am based in Asia, so am in - quite literally - a very very different time. For those of us who are not US based, maybe a reference as to what the time zone currently used by the GG with regard to GMT, (as in GMT minus whatever), would be awfully helpful.
