While I'm not switching my vote to Comeagain?, I whole-heartedly approve of the vote. Quiet people don't really pique my interest for votes, but same as last game, I'd rather have talkative and active people around. Yeah I know things come up and certainly life has other priorities, but it's hard to gauge somebody when they aren't around and I'd rather have participatory people in the game in the long run, good or not.
I am sure everyone agrees that logic dictates that 12PM comes after 11PM, and thus should be midnight, not noon.
and -of course- any time calculations should be based on New York Time (NYT)

In actual fact both are wrong in describing Noon or midnight since AM is short for ante meridiem (literally before midday), and PM is post meridiem (literally after midday). However, as you go from 11:59:59 AM to 12:00:01 PM at Noon. I assumed GG meant noon rather than midnight. The imperial nonsense is even worse than most people think. A US gallon is approximately 4/5 the size of a Imperial (UK) gallon. One of the reasons American cars appear to guzzle gas so badly - if a gallon is 4/5 as much their going to do 4/5 of the mpg even if they are as efficient.
Even worse - A US pint is 4/5 of a Imperial (UK) pint so you get less beer!

They all have their legal definition in terms of liters these days - originally the Imperial gallon was defined in the 1824 Weights and Measures act as the volume of 10 pounds of distilled water weighed in air with brass weights with the barometer standing at 30 inches of mercury (102 kPa) at a temperature of 62 °F (17 °C). Nice and simple to understand!
Note: this act also unified the various different 'gallons' that were in use prior to 1824. America being independent by that time, ignored this and continued to use its own definition of gallon. Guess this probably explains US gallon and dry gallon too - they were never unified the way they were in Britain.
I'm actually surprised Canada uses US pints. Since its still part of the commonwealth I would have thought it came under the 1824 Weights and Measures act and would have been using Imperial measurements.
