For example, let's say on a given night.

1. The seer scans mscriv
2. The werewolves choose to kill mscriv
3. The vampire wants to turn mscriv into a vampire
4. The hunter chooses to protect mscriv or worse yet chooses to kill him with his one shot kill

Holy cow, how do you fit in your house with such a large ego. It is not all about you mscriv!:p

a few clarifications, please correct me if wrong:

hunters:
both hunters have independent guarding abilities, both have a gun (instakill).
the regular hunter has no protection against vampire or werewolves
the vampire hunter cannot be killed by vampires
when they insta-kill, we'll know it immediately, regardless of the time of the day/night

vampires:
there is no difference between vampire and goth (why not calling them just vampires?)
they both scan each night. scanning only reveals vampire blood, not WW or other specials.
upon a successful scan, they instantly activate and draw first blood that same night (by mutual decision).
they can be identified by the seer both before and after activation.
the seer will know if the vamp is active or not.
same for the undertaker
if one vamp dies before activation, the remaining vamp is just a regular dude
if one vamp is killed the same night of the activation, the other vamp is still active and will drink blood.

lynching:
when killed, WW turn into dead wolves and vamps into dust (do we need to stock up with wooden stakes?), villagers become zombies and go partying at iBlue's (what about pre-scan vampires?)

we'll know how people died (vamp, ww, shot). in case of double kills (vamp and ww) the death is by the vampire. we don't know what happened with the WW decision.

You understood it perfectly, except two minor things:

The Hunter is immune to werewolf attack, but not the vampire attack, while the Vampire Hunter is immune to vampire attack, but not the werewolf attack.

The vampire/Goth scan and the attack is the same "turn", so basically, on the night of the Goth's "activation", there's no killing. However, the next night there will be.

And why not call them both vampires? Because it wouldn't make sense for two vampires to attempt to "activate" each other, eh? ;) Once "activated", the Goth turns into a vampire. Clearer that way. And actually, there IS a slight difference between the Goth and the vampire - the vampire is immune to werewolf attack even while in the "scanning" stage. The Goth is not immune to werewolf attack until "activated".

ok, gotcha.

i suggest that we call the 'the hunter' the 'WW hunter' for clarity. you should amend the rule in the OP to highlight that he cannot be killed by WW.

and I had missed the part where ww and vamps cannot kill each other.

what happens when alphadog tries to turn a vampire? the goth?
if the goth is wolferized, can he still become a vamp?

double post.
i was editing the previous one so i don't know how it happened.
edit: might as well use the space for something more useful:
the WW hunter is an incredibly powerful character. In many games or parts of games he's basically unkillable.

For the vampire, it'll just fail. For the Goth, well sorry Mr. Vampire, but you're just a "special" villager now.

Yep, but like everyone else he still needs to worry about being lynched by the villagers. Once the werewolves find out their attack has failed, they will likely try to push that player towards a lynching in case he is a werewolf hunter. And in this game, there could potentially be 4 werewolves, which could make a powerful voting block. Then again, they wouldn't want to all vote together, because that'll give themselves away.

All those possible scenarios. I can't wait to see how this game plays out!

I was trying to use myself so as not to offend anyone else. But, I forgot you were playing. So let me rephrase:

What happens if:

- The villagers want to lynch ucfgrad93
- The werewolves want to eat ucfgrad93
- The vampires want to kill ucfgrad93
- The hunters both want to kill ucfgrad93
- The undertaker wants ucfgrad93 to be dead so he can scan him
- The narrator of the story wants ucfgrad93 out of the game
- The observers watching the thread are cheering for ucfgrad93 to meet an unfortunate end

Is that better???
;) :D :p

Much better. ucfgrad93 just sounds so much better, wouldn't you agree?;)

So the undead and shaman roles are out now, right? I thought the shaman role was really cool but all the complications were getting a tad much. The undead role especially seemed not worth the effort, especially for how it would slow the game down.

Anyway, I've got popcorn for the people!

I just wanted the best of the best. Should be a total compliment in wolfie terms.

It really would have been a brilliant tactic. I probably would have flown right under the radar if I could keep my cool.

P.S. I'm so stoked there's like a "Buffy" role in this game! :D

hey i can see you!
i still think the idea of going invisible so to avoid deduction based on logins rather than game play was good, and I will stay invisible.
don't hold it against me! :D

I was invisible before the game started (I actually didn't even remember I was invisible, I turned the option on so long ago) but that got me killed. :(

It wasn't that entirely but now hopefully everyone will go invisible so there will be no innocence or guilt via log-in times.

It would seem a lot of people missed this paragraph in the OP, so I am posting it again below:

Right now, the thread is open for sign ups and rule discussion. Please provide any feedback you like to the rules below. This is your game - all feedback will be considered and discussed in the thread. There are some minor adjustments of the rules from the previous game (the most notable being that I will only post who the kills are at a certain time of the day, to avoid the players with concealed activity times from having an advantage.)
