A big thanks to all beta testers noticing a bug. Your feedback is much appreciated!

lmaoooo literally. some people have wars in their countries, guys.
It might sound harsh, but your comment is off topic and irrelevant.

Unfortunately there are always wars going around somewhere in the world, but it doesn’t stop the rest of the world spinning if you get my point. By your logic, why would we even play sports, play video games and celebrate birthdays and holidays etc if there are people who are suffering at the same time?

To all the people saying: "It's a beta! Why all the whining?" If this can happen on the beta, it can happen on the general release. You should be supporting all the whining to Apple, not attacking it. Apple is bad enough already at squashing bugs.

This beta 4 has been an f'n nightmare.. Messed up the home app automation schedule for my smart lights. I have it setup to turn on at sunset and 2 of my 12 lights turn on 🤬. Another issue is sometimes I can't connect to my airpod pros unless I restart my phone. I'll take em out of case and put them in ears and the sound will come from phone. If I drag down control center and hold down Bluetooth the only thing listed is my phone. Third issue is Airplay from 11 pro max to apple tv 4k is a joke and this beta made it worse. And finally this message is the icing on the cake! I understand the consequences of downloading beta especially to my daily driver, but this makes me wanna pull my hair out and never install another beta again (developer or public)...

Many users running iOS 14 beta are reporting that they are seeing a dialog box pop up repeatedly asking them to update from the latest iOS 14 beta.

Threads in our forums, Reddit, and Twitter are reporting the issue. The dialog has been appearing for a few days now, but as of tonight has started appearing more frequently, every time an iPhone is unlocked. There's been further discussion in our iOS 14.2 Beta 4 thread.

Previous betas have reportedly seen the same issue, according to postings in our forum.

Update: Some have mentioned that moving the iOS date back will prevent it from happening, though that has other consequences so we don't recommend it.

Hmm... I would say that Apple is the best/fastest when it comes to fixing bugs and software glitches. Tell me one other company that releases software updates as quickly as Apple does?!

That's your opinion. I disagree. Apple software is riddled with bugs, which often take years to fix and get transmitted from one OS version to the next.

I'm surprised this code still exists given the trouble it caused some time ago when this happened before!

How could Apple not have removed it? It's even doing the exact same thing it did back then, giving you the popup occasionally at first, then spamming you with it every time.
They will blame it on covid! 🤣

It looks like apple is running late in publishing iOS update
In the console, the popup is showing if the today date is after October 27 2020
A quick fix is to change the current date to before 26 October 2020 and the popup will disappear.
We should just wait for the next update which might arrive in few hours.

“I’d like to volunteer to beta test your software, please.”
“WHAAAT?! There are BUGS?!?! That’s OUTRAGEOUS!!!”

“I’d like to buy this used car, please.”
“WHAAAT?! There are MILES on the odometer?!?! That’s OUTRAGEOUS!!!”

“Could I borrow a pen, please?”
“WHAAAT?! It’s low on ink?!?! That’s OUTRAGEOUS!!!”

I just uninstalled the beta profile. It didn't help. Hope there are no ramifications from installing the profile. Especially if apple releases a hot fix for this. hmmm
I uninstalled the beta profile and the frequency of notifications dropped from one notification every 60 seconds to approximately one notification every 60 MINUTES. It’s not a resolution, but it is a significant improvement.
