2 predictions:

1. Multiple 3rd party brands will be selling earpod fins
2. Multiple 3rd party brands will be selling earpod string/connectors.

If these are sweatproof once my jaybirds die these may be my next set of bluetooth earbuds.

Not sure, unless there is a third party charging dock for them. You will most likely have to take fins and connectors off every time you put the earpods into their case to charge them.

Not a fan of the sticks design. With they were compact.

They need to have a black as well.

$159 isn't bad.

Upside is easy pairing, sensors to use either ear. I do a lot of one ear listening at work.

Upside of moving from one device to another seamlessly.

Just got Bragi Dash though for $250 in June. Not going to jump on these.

15 minutes to get another 3 hours out of them. I'm not seeing a problem considering the crazy amount of tech they've packed into this design. I can't image the battery is even 50 mah

And 5 hours is roughly around industry standard. The standard is 4-6 hours, depending on the wireless earbud.

It really comes down to your ear. People here really hate on the earpods, but for me personally they're the most comfortable earbuds I've ever worn hands down. I hate the silicon ones that you plunge into your ear to begin with.

Seeing as these are essentially the current EarPods with the wires cut out and some great features (15 minute charge for 3 hours usage, intelligent switching between devices AND dual to single use mode.

Sold.Sold.Sold.

I imagine this company's business will increase soon. earhhoox.

5 hours at what volume? If I were to guess companies usually quote best case so it's 5 hours at lower volume. At higher volume it could be less than 5 hours.

I see that as the standard for wired bluetooth not completely wireless bluetooth earbuds.

These really aren't bad for the price and features assuming you're an iphone user.

Now I am torn between these and the new Bragis. The Bragis seem much better for exercising. These look like they would fall out. However, the Bragis seem to have connection issues and would not have the easy connectivity. I wish apple would make active buds, or some sort of adaptor to make them better for running.

Great solution for those that need them, I personally find those kinds of things to actually make earpods less comfortable. I really lucked out that my ears just happen to fit them perfectly, I've only had them fall out when they've gotten caught on something. Other than that they fit perfectly and stay there, which I realize is not the case for most people. I hit the jackpot on these.

These aren't noise-canceling. Damn shame.
Given the description about handling headphones, I think they are. Just not in the way that people who use noise cancelling on airplanes would expect.

If you go back to the introduction of the Earpods several years back Apple explicitly stated they didn't want their headphones to completely block out to the world.

Any info on how sweatproof they are? I use the wired versions when I workout and I sweat a lot and haven't had any issues.

Good idea until you have to take them off every time you want to put them back into case to charge the earpod...

Dang good point.

Well, they are not good looking, thats for sure. Is this Apple earphone design really better than the traditional earbuds with silicone tips? EarPods just seem weird in my ears. I hope that the sound will match the price, otherwise Ill stick with my wired earphones...

That's for the microphone input only, for Siri & phone talking.

They really need to block out background noise, which they aren't doing here, even though all the hardware is there. Noise canceling is such a good improvement.

If by fins, you mean ear hooks, 3rd party people already make them for regular ear pods.

And they are FANTASTIC.

But yes, having to take them off every time to charge will be a major let down.

I like the tech, the price is incredible - those people complaining about the price are absolutely clueless about wireless earbuds, face it.

However, this design will never work for me, that glossy plastic just falls right out of my ear. Won't buy.

well, it's not waterproof so that's a downer. I think Bragi is a better choice due the swimming capability.

Cool concept, but I'm questioning the design choices. Also, the standard earphones have NEVER felt secure in my ear. I can see these flying out the minute I go for a jog.

I wonder if they will pair with the Apple TV so I can listen to it's content wirelessly?

As for staying in the ear, yep, it's a problem for me with the current EarPods. I bough a pair of silicone thingy's to lock them in my ear better. They work pretty good and I am sure there are going to be companies that will make similar solutions for the new ones.

If you look at the compatibility table AppleTv isn't listed. http://www.apple.com/shop/product/MMEF2AM/A/airpods
